It seems astounding to me that this latest of Trump's comments has brought such fall out.

As a white person who had all the privileges that allowed me to have a good education, an unobstructed rise in my career and good fortune I am still a child of the 1960s.

Perhaps as a Canadian it seems odd to me that the 'old south' mentality of racism still exists in 2016.

I was astounded when Trump said that the Latinos were rapists and murderers, qualifying that with SOME MAY be all right. It was a vulgar and insane comment. It was WRONG as it was factually incorrect as well as morally reprehensible.

The REAL pathetic and sick response from the MEDIA was to view this as divisive in its analysis. The media (ALL of the media) suggested that 'Trump may lose the Latino vote.'

HOW THE HELL DO YOU MORONS NOT SEE THAT AN ATTACK ON ANY GROUP IS AN ATTACK ON ALL?

I found this early comment as revolting, disgusting and in spite of my own personal 'white experience' it turned me off and made me question his moral compass.

NOW with his disgusting comments regarding women is this the turning point for all the other persons with 'white experience' finally awakening.

There is no doubt that there are more men in positions of power than women but ALL of them have mothers and many have wives or daughters. Is this the point where it gets personal?

Why did it take so long for the GOP members to disavow this dangerous lunatic?

I suspect it is because they have no guts and a low threshold for integrity until their own women put the fear of God into them. Just guessing.

Sick f**ks.

What is even more remarkable is most of his maniacal support is still with him, many of them would need a coup[le of blows to the head with a 2x4 to get it to sink in that DIRTY DONALD is nothing more than human excrement.

Well that is great D voted that you had a good education and career as a white person in Canada, the same cannot be said for a lot of First nation/aboriginal/native Canadians folks

Are you equally outraged?

I am a Canadian as well, but black, and the product of an education too, and fortunate enough to be in a business that has given me a comfortable life, thank God for Capitalism.

While I may not be a fan of the Donald, I will say a lot of his comments are blown out of proportion, but it just typical attack from the left.

As in for the P*ssy comment he made in 2005, while I'm not excusing it, I would say how many men have made that comment or something similar while in the company of other men?

I dont know if you've played sports but in the locker room that is common place, that doesn't mean that they dont respect women?

I am fully aware of the injustices that have been perpetrated upon our First Nations brothers and sisters as well as the Japanese who were transported from the west coast to my home town of Lethbridge, Alberta (an internment camp). We also treated the Chinese badly in the building of the railways using them as labour and killing many in the process.

What we have today in 2016 is a time to deal with TRUTH and reconciliation where we can try to correct the wrongs of the past. This will NEVER happen with a morally depraved person leading in either country.

Yes it does. If your friends talk like that, and you think it's fine when they do, then you don't respect women as human beings either.

As for me, personally, I haven't heard any male say something like that (outside of a stage performance) since I was in junior high. But then, I did make it a point to discard and eject everyone from my life, who declared that cheating and theft was admirable. I'm a bit on the picky side, that way.

Test,

You are also 20 plus years older than me too, Ive heard that kind of talk in the locker room as I used to play sports, I dont know if it was a macho lets flex our d*cks and show the boys who is the baddest a** or what? But it does go on.

It goes on in the construction industry and I'm sure any other male dominated industry.

I'm not saying its right but reality is reality.

I've been trying to point out here and elsewhere, for a long time, and in many ways, that a strategy of Anti-ism, ALWAYS leads to this kind of mess.

The Republican Party purposely chose a course, back in the late 1970's, of winning votes based on who they hated themselves, or by pretending to hate whoever the suckers, oh, sorry, I mean "their constituents," already hated or feared.

They have been so famous for proposing NO solutions, and telling everyone except their best friends, to "just suck it up" for decades now, that their own leader in Congress, Ryan, became famous because he said he intended for the first time, to actually propose alternate SOLUTIONS, instead of simply opposing the Democrats.

Trump's success to this point, is the direct result of building a political party on alliances of Anti-people. They ignored his obvious defects until now, because he was so good at saying nasty off the cuff things about the standard list of people they already hated or feared.

So. As I learned watching the extremists of the left, growing up, when you decide everything based on going the opposite way from people you hate, instead of setting your own positive course in life, you should never be surprised that you don't end up anywhere that you like, as a result.
