Animals are so entertaining. My Pug will ride a graden tractor with others. But not me. I got flipped Sunday when a lady ran into me with an electric shopping cart. So.....I am in a wheelchair for a bit. Not long. So I took him for a ride in my lap. Now every time I am in the w-chair he has to get in my lap and play guard dog. Sort of cute.
I will be out of the chair in a week or so and what will he do then?

Sorry to read you are in a wheel chair even temporarily. I hope you feel better quickly.
Your pug is a loyal companion. Dogs are wonderful to have as pets.

Thank you Manureman and kind happylady. I am a bit sore,. no bones broken. Just a twisted knee and bruised head and hip. Should be about over it in a couple days. They say I lucked out one more time. I feel fine. Just can not hold my weight on my right leg yet. But it is getting there.

Thanks Fannybly01. Just another day in the life of a senior citizen. Ha! the funny part is the lady that ran me down with the cart was 94 and she gets around better than I do. Gives me something to aim for. Have a great day. June

My grandson came and pulled his boat away yesterday. Today he brought back five beautiful black kittens. And as soon as they were put in the shed. Their mom came and got them. He works nights and they woke him crying this morning. They were none the worse for wear and seemed content to be back with their mom. One has the prettiest deep blue eyes. Love watching them but they make 13 black cats . They are feral. But adorable. They work for their feed. They catch gophers , rats, mice and even a mean blue jay once in a great while. My pug loves visiting with them.

What a wonderful story, June. 13 isn't unlucky unless you are Superstitious  Hopefully you will be able to see them often as they grow up. I bet their mother is happy to have her babies back..

They are a tight family and so cute to watch. I saw them this evening and they seem so happy.
I love watching kittens and their mothers looking after them. Once, I had a male cat that lived with me. I put the kittens outside and he was outside teasing the dog. lol (my ex said the cat hid in the bushes so he could tease the dog on purpose lol} He saw the kittens going towards the quiet street and he promptly went after them making sure the kittens didn't wander out there. What a cat!
