Not I. I sometimes consider it though. As much as I come to DH for the forums, my original intention was to have the opportunity to meet more women. Met some wonderful gals here! But none have been local. Not lately anyway.

Some of the sites on your list I haven't even heard of.
on okcupid, tinder and some others you can limit the geographical range of the searches. that is one reason I think those places are better for finding people.

sls? i went to a swinger's party hosted at a hotel here in denver. it was insane. i went solo and it was one of the few events that took single males. hooked up with 3 couples in a room but was only with one of the girls. got to watch the others though. crazy fun.

I didn't exactly crawl under a rock, as I am still out there in the real world around women every day. It is true that older people don't get out as much, so I haven't exactly met a lady of my own age who I think I would even be compatible with yet.
If I were to join any kind of a single or dating site, I think I would be more interested in joining a site that was exclusive to the older singles.

Please write me (even if it is only a "Hi") rather than sending a "Want To Meet" as POF no longer allows access to your profile in that way and your effort just gets ignored, even if I would like to see your profile.
Even with the above stipulation, probably more than 75% send a "Want To Meet" greeting rather than a Simple "Hi".

If you are such a 5-star woman, then why do you need so much advertising to sell yourself?
Shouldn't your reputation have earned you enough credibility by word of mouth, within your local communities?
Men are always looking, so if they are locally passing you by, to the point you need all those websites, that should make a real good statement as to why they are passing you over.

I thought pay sites would be better for several reasons, but I didn't find that to be the case. There are numerous robot profiles for adult sites there, too. And they let anyone create a profile and browse for free, so you don't really ever know who can read your messages and who can't.

the fake bots aren't as much of an issue for women on those sites, they use the bots because there aren't enough women to lure the men into paying the fees

SLS wasn't that the NASA platform that they launched rockets from.
N yes POF's forums can still be found with Google, just no where near as many people there anymore. N I did like em better because they were so well moderated.
