The Pawhuska Police Department says a student recorded the incident on a cellphone. Police Chief Scott Laird says the incident reportedly happened during a high school choir class in Pawhuska, about 100 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
The substitute teacher, 34-year-old Lacey Dawn Sponsler, was arrested Tuesday afternoon. Pawhuska police say she remains jailed Wednesday morning.
Police reports show that Sponsler allegedly told students that she wasn't wearing underwear before performing the cartwheel. Different juvenile witnesses told police they saw Sponsler's buttocks and genitals during the incident.

A 17-year-old Pawhuska High School student recorded the incident on a cell phone using the Snapchat app, according to a probable cause affidavit cited by the SmokingGun.

The 17-year-old student said the choir teacher told here class she ‘was not wearing underwear before performing the cartwheel’, which according to the student exposed her ‘bare vagina’.
In the affidavit the student claimed that she saw Sponsler’s ‘vagina open and close, as her legs were in the air’.
The teen also told cops that Sponsler ‘had been talking about using drugs’ and commented on how she ‘thought fourteen year old boys were like men’.

Sponsler was arrested Tuesday afternoon upon which time the choir teacher denied doing the cartwheel in class.
She told police that she was ‘just dancing with the students’ and ‘trying to be a cool teacher’.

“According to court records, Sponsler pleaded guilty in 2008 to marijuana possession, public intoxication, and possession of drug paraphernalia (for which she received a two-year deferred sentence, was fined $1100, and was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service). In December 2009, a judge ruled that Sponsler violated her probation, in part because she had not disclosed being questioned by police investigating an accused meth cook. Sponsler told cops that she had been present in the suspect’s home when he was manufacturing the drug, adding that the man was “careless when he cooks.”
In September 2011, Sponsler pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and marijuana in the presence of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to a three-year deferred sentence. As part of that plea deal, prosecutors dropped a burglary charge against Sponsler, who is pictured below in a mug shot snapped yesterday.”

Many of the boys involved, aged 12-14, apparently attended the same high school in Ashkelon and made frequent visits to the woman for sex, sometimes without using protection. There were no indications that the woman accepted payment for the meetings.
Neither the identity of the school nor that of the suspect was revealed.
Aside for the concern over the young age of the woman’s multiple sexual partners, parents were frantic at suggestions she may be carrying HIV.
Police intended to ask the court to order the woman, who was known to welfare authorities, be tested for AIDS as a precaution, Ynet reported. Dozens of children began swarming to local health clinics for AIDS tests in recent days, and more intend to be tested.
The woman’s lawyer, Hofit Edri, said her client is the victim and suffers from mental health issues. Edri added that the panic over AIDS was started by one of the parents of a boy involved in the case, and was unfounded.
“The women has no knowledge that she has AIDS,” Edri said. “She said that she was tested a year ago and found to be negative.”
According to Channel 2, a video showing one of the teens having sex with the woman, filmed on a smartphone and shared on social media, brought the matter to the attention of Israeli authorities.
Police first became aware after being contacted by a representative of the government run anti-social behavior program “City Without Violence” and following a complaint from the father of one of the children who had sex with the woman.
The Education Ministry conducted a day of sexual health classes in the school at the center of the case, as did other schools in the area.
