You should be less concerned about how it effects others and more concerned with how it affects you.

True!

Trying to organize society to benefit the lazy just ends up creating more laziness. Low IQ people don't see the dole as a trap that keeps them poor for generations, but the politicians do.

No, but you seemed overly concerned about other people. As if you don't care if you get screwed as long as others get screwed too.

And you also seem to be unaware that there are reasons why so many people are either unemployed or employed at shitty jobs. The core of the problem is that too few Americans are making the kind of money that a few decades ago was common place, especially for college grads.

In other words, the core of the problems that you cited are less because people are lazy and more because our middle class has been decimated. Unrig the economic system and restore the middle class to its former glory and the problems you cited will be mitigated. Simply denying people health care because YOU judge that they aren't worthy will not help you or anybody else. When half the country is poor an intelligent person will deduct that laziness is not the real culprit.

My point is you're b*tching about the symptoms of the problem and blaming the victims, and at the same time ignoring the root cause of the symptoms. When half the country is poor it is unlikely that laziness is the real problem.

Actually, your assertion isn't supported by the facts. Cost of medical care actually INCREASES with fewer customers.

If you look back at things like cars, or any other product, you can easily see that the more CUSTOMERS there are, the cheaper that car can be, and still make a sufficient profit for the manufacturer.

That's how capitalism actually works. If you ONLY have a few patients, then each one would have to pay a vastly larger share of the cost of the testing, the production of medicine, and so on.

The reason why capitalism led to the end of the days when ONLY the vastly wealthy few had any transportation, or decent clothing and so on, was because it led to merchants having lots and lots of CUSTOMERS.

Another thing you are ignoring entirely, is that the United States Businesses are all competing with foreign industrial states who do NOT burden their business people or working people with medical care costs.

If you want the United States to be able to compete on an even playing field with them, you are going to have to face up to that, and find a functional answer. And your approach of simply discarding everyone who isn't rich, isn't going to work.

There is no such thing as "free" healthcare.

Somewhere, people are stuck paying
their own tabs, and paying the tabs
for others.

Ending "free" healthcare for everyone,
should be the route to go.

Since the ACA was adopted, many mid state white southerners working low paying jobs gained coverage at low cost or at no cost, allowing many of them the chance to visit physicians or go in for check-ups without fear of bankruptcy for the first time in their lives. And while there is some justification for b*tching about the ACA, its rural (white) America that has been the most dependent on public insurance, relying on medicaid or other public insurance to cover their most basic healthcare needs. Fact is, many of these people rallied around Trump’s "vague plans" to ease their economic issues, only to now quite possibly have that realization ripped apart once again by leaving them without healthcare coverage.

Yup, you knocked them out alright. F'n troll.

Wrong. Illegals do not receive free health care coverage. Should they receive anything at all, it will only be on a one time emergency basis, then its back to wherever they came from...

http://www.politifact.com/florida/statements/2013/jul/09/chain-email/illegal-immigrants-are-covered-under-health-care-l/

Also, medicaid doesn't pay for medical care while you're in prison or jail...

I understand the law quite well. Problem is, folks like you would rather side step the true impact of how repealing the ACA will adversely affect both low income workers as well as the middle class.

"Federal law does prevent illegal aliens from receiving benefits meant for American citizens. The only benefit that illegal aliens are allowed is emergency medical care. ... According to the U.S. Census Bureau, at least one third of foreign born citizens in the United States are illegal aliens".

http://thelawdictionary.org/article/why-is-it-that-illegal-aliens-get-free-food-stamps-health-insurance-and-pay-no-taxes/

So now please provide evidence the majority of those receiving free healthcare are illegals and prisoners/inmates.

All I want to hear them say is it's no longer going to be a regulated and socialistic mess... I could only imagine having to wait 96+ hours for medical attention like I did with my local regulated socialist monopoly power company.

I can see it now, a call to 911 during a busy time would result in the call center changing to an automated only system.

The problem with your power company wasn't that it was regulated or that it was "socialist". The problem was that it was a monopoly. They're like the only girl at the dance. Either kiss her a** or you don't get any p*ssy. The problem is lack of gov't intervention such as breaking up the monopoly and making it more competitive.

Lack of regulation brought on the collapse of Wall Street in 1929. Then they put in regulations that kept the financial system stable for 50 years. Then starting in the 1980's they started deregulating again culminating with the repeal of Glass/steagal in the 1990's. That led to the ultimate financial collapse of 2008. The only thing that thwarted another great depression was the FDR safeguards that they hadn't yet removed.

Medicare works pretty good. No reason why it can't be extended to everybody, but that would require healthy people pay into it as well.

You won't because your a hypocrite lol

Not only have I already explained to you why the claim of illegals receiving ongoing free healthcare is bullshit, but also given you the benefit of the doubt by provided information on how it is their children sometimes do. Yet there remains nothing, notta, or even an a reasonable quote from you that shows any current changes under Trumps/Republicans policy, that will not leave millions of people unable to afford health insurance. In fact, some Republicans have even stated that themselves. So how about you, cut the bullshit.

I'd love to see jits prove he pays into our healthcare system. Somehow though, I suspect Cliven Bundy instructed him not to.

We need to demand a complete repeal of the government takeover of our healthcare system. RINOCARE (Repeal In Name Only) is just as bad as OBAMACARE ! No matter what you call it, redistribution of wealth is redistribution of wealth.

You don't REALLY think that has anything at all to do with your own thread subject do you? Or with anything I said?

Just to be sure you don't:

no, everything you just said is nonsense, which has nothing to do with anything else in this thread, save that you posted it.

Since the 1980's we've had a redistribution of wealth. It's been a redistribution from the middle class to the 1%. As a result half the country is poor. All you are doing is repeating talking points from corporatist talk show guys like Hannity and Limbaugh. You are pretty much an uneducated parrot who really has no clue what has been going on the past 30 years.

If you ever come to the point to where you no longer want to be a sheeple, then I recommend looking up Mark Blythe, Chris Hedges, or Jimmy Dore on youtube.

Why of course. And please make it a naked one. That way, not only can me and my friends throw darts at your tiny penis, but also enjoy having you booted off Datehookup in record time.

Go!

I live in it, I've seen my neighborhood turn in to a waste land, only a few Americans hanging on, when they are gone the beautiful neighborhoods of Boston will be a wasteland , 3rd world country, and it's all run by democrats.

Then the problem might be immigration, not health care. I'm not a proponent of too much immigration. Maybe you should focus on that. You may find more allies.

Yet most welfare recipients are situated within red states. Talk about success. Seems to me all your interested in, is bragging about having sex with an illegal/legal immigrant, while at the same time accepting policy changes that f**k over the very Americans you claim to stand up for.

------------------------------------

Since the 1980's YOU say? Didn't the "redistribution of wealth" you speak of start in the 90's during the Clinton years? And accelerate during the 0bama years?

What group received over 90% of the DHS grants for example?

Why are you reinforcing your unlinked, unsourced claim with an ad hominem attack?

Aren't you in fact guilty of doing the same thing you're accusing jtts of?

Project much?
