enard, the limb you are way out on is 24 inches in diameter so I don't think you have to worry about it breaking.

Where have you been by not posting in our tournament contest thread? I always look forward to reading your posts.

ya know this brings up a question i was wondering about the other day.

how on easrth has uconn been able to obliterate the entire landscape of wcb. it's like suddenly it's the 1970's all over again with only one legitimate good team. i dont get it. has the rest of wcb just stopped caring?

Tater, Maybe it's because the UCONN women have one great coach and recruiter and with the loss of the great Pat Summit at Tennessee the UCONN women don't have any competition anymore.

I hear you Tater but think about this too:

Before the late and great Pat Summit left us it was UCONN vs. Tennessee almost every year in the women's finals. Why? Because the best of the best in women's high school basketball wanted to play for one or the other to get them to the WNBA for exposure and money. Women's high school and college basketball is far behind men's basketball at the same level. Is this wrong? I say hell yes just like women CEOs of major companies don't make the kind of money the men CEOs make for doing an equal job.

People who know me well will tell you that I defend women more than I defend men in what I have described because I feel that equal pay for equal work should be the correct formula.

With this said, I have to draw the line in the sand when it comes to women being on the front lines in combat because as a US Marine once upon a time I know that women's bodies were not built by God to carry a 60 pound pack, combat boots, helmet, and a 10 pound rifle loaded up a hill very far, not to mention what might happen to a woman who might be captured and become a POW in a war situation.

Tommy as dad of a Marine, I really wish that more of you retired guys would speak up and
put the press in their place.
Also when my dad was police chief here, he refused to have any women in his department.
He retired early in '92 and to this date, there are still no female cops on the department.

How can retired military men and women speak up to the press when TRUMP can't even get it done with all the resources he has? If you will think back to the Viet-Nam war which I was blessed to come home alive from the press was all over the place giving you a blow by blow description of what we did today to the enemy, what we are planning to do tomorrow to the enemy, and what we have planned for the enemy next week on the nightly TV news. We could have kicked butt in this war but we did not win it because it was fought out of Washington, D.C. with major help from the press who gave many of our strategic secrets away. Freedom of the Press is one of the worst enemies our country has in my opinion.

tommy, i actually disagree with you on the free press thing. it's not the freedom the press has, thats the problem. it's the agenda behind the freedom. if the people that decide what goes on the news care more about our enemies than they do america, thats the problem. just like when hillary gave away our nuclear response times back during the election. did anyone bother to look at the foundation deposits around that time, hmm..... if the people have zero care about american lives, it doesnt matter about the free press.

to each and every one of you that served or still serves, thank you! may god always bless you and keep you!

Tater, after a long and rewarding career with CBS Television I can tell you this:

BAD NEWS SELLS! How many times when you watch the nightly TV news do you see a good heart warming news story? I think your answer will be very few times but I'll let you tell me. If you have three different TV stations in the same city and a terrorist attack occurs it's like a drag race among the three different TV stations to get and air the story first. The point I was trying to make about Freedom of the Press is that I feel the press should be restricted somewhat in certain areas they can report from if their reports could cause damage to our country, and especially in war zones with strategic combat situations going on because those who we are trying to defeat are watching the news too.

Right on brother and let me just add that many USA news reporters are foreigners who don't necessarily have the best interest of the USA on their agenda.

I thought Dak Prescott's Cowboys had just won the Super Bowl as I watched him celebrate his college team's women take out the UCONN women in the stands.

enard, Maybe I need to get you to jinx some very good teams for me that I don't like very much which reminds me, I got thrown out of quite a few baseball games by an umpire with my few choice words to him after he said to me "I call um like I see um" but that's another story for another day.

Yep, they reported like 85% of all tickets sold were for McGregor.

Average bet on McGregor was $200. Average bet on Mayweather was $8000.

Maloof brothers wagered $800,000 at the M casino. The casino had to split the bet on 2 tickets because the payback was over a million.

Biggest bet on McGregor was $100,000.
