Muldoon, if people want to believe in Noah's ark for religious reasons that's their prerogative. Right now we have more immediate concerns like avoiding war and saving the middle class. And if someone who doesn't believe in evolution, but wants to save our middle class and stop the wars then I say come on board.

Idiots wanting to drag us back into the dark ages
is an immediate concern.
If you can be duped into thinking the earth is only six
thousand years old you can be duped into believing
pretty much anything.
Like war is peace, freedom is slavery,
and various other Orwellian double-speak
catchphrases.

Since the mid-20th century, young Earth creationists—starting with Henry Morris (1918–2006)—have devised and promoted a pseudoscientific explanation called "creation science" as a basis for a religious belief in a supernatural, geologically recent creation.[6] Evidence from numerous scientific disciplines contradicts YEC, showing the age of the universe as 13.8 billion years, the formation of the Earth as at least 4.5 billion years ago, and the first appearance of life on Earth as occurring at least 3.5 billion years ago.[7][8][9][10][11]
A 2009 poll by Harris Interactive found that 39% of Americans agreed with the statement that "God created the universe, the earth, the sun, moon, stars, plants, animals, and the first two people within the past 10,000 years", yet only 18% of the Americans polled agreed with the statement "The earth is less than 10,000 years old".[12] Between 1982 and 2014, successive surveys have found that between 40% and 47% of adults in the United States inclined to the view that "God created humans in their present form at one time within the last 10,000 years" when Gallup asked for their views on the origin and development of human beings.[13] A 2011 Gallup survey reports that 30% of U.S. adults say they interpret the Bible literally.[14]

So bringing up religion is basically you pulling on your own penis.
And trying to compare scientific research to bigfoot

Question science all you want, you should. But don't pretend that just because science can't explain the entire universe it means some magical man in the sky snapped his f**kin fingers and made it happen. Agnostics are a waste of time.

Not so... not if its considered a belief system. Belief systems, by nature, don't require scientific substanciations.
No religion does...if its held in context of a belief system...imo

You won't win people over by insulting their religious beliefs. Now, you can win people over by saying you vote this way you get more of the share of the pie, you vote that way you stay poor no matter how hard you work. The key is getting them to do their own research and stop letting corporate media do their thinking for them.

That's a pretty lame pastor if he can't give you proof Jesus existed. There is conclusive proof that he did. Now proving that God exists is a different matter.

Except there is tangible evidence for all the things you've listed.
A forensic scientist doesn't have to actually witness the crime to
be able to figure out what happened.
Quote from pastmybedtime
1. Cosmic Evolution: The origin of time, space and matter, by the big bang.
We used to belive the universe was static but Hubble theorized
and proved that the universe is in fact expanding by using the dopler
shift of the spectrum. He also noted that the further away the star,
the further the shift was to the red end of the spectum concluding
that not only is the universe expanding, the expansion is excellerating.
There had to be a starting point for that expansion so they extrapolated
backward.
2. Chemical Evolution: The origin of higher elements from hydrogen.
Again, using the spectral analysis of stars you can determin
their chemical make up through the absorption band within
the spectrum. Heavier denser stars contain heavier denser element.
3. Stellar and Planetary Evolution: The origin of stars and planets.
Astronomers have found numerous examples of star and planetary formations
in their various stages of development from gaseous nebula to early formation
of a planetary disc which then condense into planets. Finding the actual planets is
merely the final stage of that investigation. Planets themselves get lost in the starlight, but a planetary disc doesn't.
4. Organic Evolution: The origin of Life.
Yes. Origin of life from the inorganic to the organic
is still a mystery. There have been numerous experiments
working on this. Some have even come very close but lack the ability
to reproduce the results so still no dice. But if you want to go by the
"we don't know so it must be god" rule then you're living in a shrinking
bubble of ignorance. History is full of examples things we didn't know
attributed to god but now do know and realize it wasn't god.
5. Macro-Evolution: The changing from one kind of species to another kind of species.
The amount of evidence in the fossil record is staggering.
You choosing to ignore it doesn't mean it isn't there.
But hey. I'll give you an out. If you want to turn the study of evolution through
the fossil record on its ear and force us to rethink the entire thing, find me
a per-cambrian fossil of a bunny rabbit.
