As far as modern day catchers I have to agree with you and in the order you listed them. However, there were some pretty good catchers in days gone by too long before we were born.

The best catcher of all time had to be Bob Uecker!
If you don't believe me check out these lifetime stats:
14 Home Runs
.200 Batting Average
74 Runs Batted In
Bob Uecker did pretty well for himself after his playing days were over however.
He did a lot better than Cuno Barragon! 2 lifetime extra base hits, 1 HR, might have hit better than 200 (might) and few runs batted in. He must have been called up only when someone was hurt. Do consult baseball-reference.

Berra? 47 49 50 51 52 53 55 56 57 58 60 61 62 63. Did he play in 63? (Don't remember) He got one more managing in 64 didn't he?
Uecker got 7 HRs off Koufax? I'm sorry but I find that hard to believe. Koufax in his prime was simply unhittable!

It says Uecker had 14 lifetime HRs but I still find it hard to believe that half of them came against Koufax. Is there a way on baseball reference to see who he got his HRs against?

Oh you mean the times they won the series? Yes they lost in 60 to Pitts. I STILL don't believe it, but they lost to Brooklyn once too about 55 and to Milwaukee in 57. Yogi was in 14 WS and that may still set a record.

I'll second that motion and as a lifelong Cardinal fan there were many games with Koufax vs. Gibson that ended 1-0 or 2-1 when both pitchers went the distance and both of them got their fair share of wins against each other.

I know your favorite catcher was Yogi but remember he was from St. Louis.
He grew up a block away from Joe Garageola and they were best childhood friends.
I probably spelled Joe's last name wrong.
