Well, let's see.
Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy running a register.
Stocker for Warehouse Market
Worked for a Temp service and did a lot of random things. Most of which I vaguely remember.
Assistant Pipe fitter
QA for Origin Systems
QA/Debugger for Westwood Online
Assistant store manager for Kmart for a very long time.
Habitat for Humanity "Restore" warehouse manager.
I worked as an auto detailer for a year.
Sous chef for a year.
Worked as a Butler to a dude for a year.
I worked as a Butler to a young lady for 4 years 8 months.
DHS paid me to take care of my mom and keep her out of a nursing home for 3 years here.
Then I worked as a Sous Chef for a couple of years.
Then I worked at Wal-Mart for 1 year exactly.
Then I worked at a drug testing lab for 8 months.
Then I worked as a mason for about a year.
Now I make aircraft parts.
Total time between jobs over the course of my life. 2 months, except when I was married and Mai didn't want me to work for probably 6 months, she eventually changed her mind because I was bored out of me gourd.
K-Mart and the second Butler positions are the only ones I ever liked going to. Only jobs where working hard got me rewarded instead of just more work piled on.

Before I was old enough to work, 14 or so, I did something in soybean fields one summer at my grandmas for about 3 weeks.
oh, and I worked for my dad at a car dealer. Took customers to work, picked them up, moved cars around for the service dept.

When I graduated 1982, I made 33k/yr, teachers were making maybe 11k/yr
current entry level petr eng start at about $130/yr, highest paying 4 yr degree
Always has been.

Active navy here that was fun getting sea duty for my first assignment! Woulda gotten a nice re-enlistment bonus if I re-upped n went to shore duty!
They used to give enlistment bonuses to first time enlisters but they had to stop that because guys were enlisting just to get those nice bonuses and not serving thier contracts. this was quite a few yrs after I processed out tho!

i have a 30-30 i can hit a egg with at 200 yards,,,my 30-06 wont do it, id miss by a foot or more,,i have a savage 22 i could knock the egg over with at 300 yards, it wont pierce it but might knock it over

we have a pond out by the range that we put cans in and (with the 22's because shells are cheap) mark off 75-80 yards. everybody puts in a 5 and the first person to sink the can wins the pot,,,do that 6 or 7 times and you realize you have just lost 30 bux you learn to aim real good

I used to not be a bad aim...I had trouble though with my wrist moving with a hand gun and a bit of a weave with the rifle...but hey I was good enough to pass all my firearms tests...so I guess I wasn't that bad...I don't think at this stage I would want to bet 5 bucks a shot tho....
