Actually, after the first time she raised her voice to me I'd of kicked her out, I don't get loud, so I don't tolerate it myself. Yeah I feel for the kids, but I've been the kid in a situation like that before so it's whatever. BUT, don't know the whole story and if she was at fault, he was at fault, was it 50/50, who knows. So he's being locked up for the 5th time and they're still going to be living there. Now this is his #5 felony DV charge and will come home to her AGAIN. The cop asked him "Is this worth going to jail these many times for the same DAMN thing over and over again!? He replied "I can't get a restraining order or a peace order. I tried to put her out but keep getting locked up. But I keep letting her come back! Tell me your thoughts... 1. Do you see anything wrong with this picture? 2. If so, what do you see wrong with this?? As a bonus question... 3. If you was the man or the woman in this case what would you do?? He is an idiot, for continuing to let her back AFTER he has put her and the children out MULTIPLE times already. He can't blame the system, because he is the legal resident of that property. You do not NEED a restraining order, at that point. All you have to do is tell her to LEAVE and IF she RETURNS, that is Criminal Trespass and SHE will be the one taken away in handcuffs. This man doesn't get sympathy from me, because in the 5th scenario, he told the police he tried to "throw" her out of the house. This makes him the "aggressor" of physical violence, regardless of HOW the verbal fight started. Had she bit him FIRST, and THEN he tried to remove her from the home, he would be under "self-defense". And Doc, we both know how I am aware the system IS rigged against MEN, regarding DV and women. However, in this case, he is a victim of hos own choices and as such his punishments are justified and legal.

But this time the system isn't at the forefront of this one. He kicked her OUT the first time before she established residency and the law did nothing. I'm not really expressing my view on this right now for a reason. So for now I'm just making sure everyone has the facts as I know it.

Its much harder for men to get restraining orders, because of an outdated, backwards view of things in the courts and etc... Its harder for men in any type of related thing, because we are men and suppose to be able to take it or whatever. I had a legit reason once to put a woman under a restraining order, because of her stealing from here, and it turned out she had priors for drug charges too...and they wouldn't do it.

There are many details from the very beginning. But the police aren't social workers, counselors or therapist. So the ONLY facts they're interested in is what they need to determine a resolution or what the charges are. In this case we have the basics. 2. The reason HE couldn't get a restraining order is... Not only did he put her name on the lease he NEVER reported any violence on her part toward him that a court would grant. The cops are always called AFTER they get into and he's the aggressor. 3. The cops can't make her leave the home AFTER she establishes residency there unless there's a court order which is usually brought by a sheriff. Cops can bring temporary peace orders with summons to appear in court for. 4. The rest of your post? Well it will require me to share my personal opinion and I'm saving it for a reason.

Then when he is away in Prison she will have to pay the bills, or move. And... I have a friend, in Section 8 housing, that is letting her loser, criminal boyfriend "squat" in her apartment. I have warned her, that she can be evicted for doing so. She doesn't seem to care, though. She will, when she is homeless. Ok she WASN'T on the lease when they met nor they GET a place together with both on the lease. She WASN'T on the First Time he put them out bcuz he couldn't have if she WAS on it. So he HAD to have "added" her to his in order for her to get on. She COULDN'T go to the landlord herself and say "I wanna be on HIS lease so can you please sign me on bcuz he HAVE TO sign off on her being added acknowledging whatever responsibilities that changes have both on it for Legal purposes. Plus they had ONLY been seeing each other for 6 months when he got arrested the 5th time. And your friend on section 8? Is a perfect example of how women put emotions before reality bcuz they believe it makes them as great as God. This is how and why their kids are so screwed up. But ask her if she's a good mother and see what she say??

I try to avoid being around children, with "previously enjoyed companions", so I can't say about her parenting. I know neither of her son's have bad grades in school, and generally do fairly well, with no behavior issues. So, I can say that she is doing SOME things right, in that department. At least better than "typical women" do.... And actually, in her mind, she often thinks she is bad with parenting/people. She has some real self-esteem issues. I have tried to get through to her, with this guy, but I may as well just go talk to a brickwall.

And cops only ask case related for the arrest and processing?. When his lease started and ends, how they met, why he let her move in, his personal issues (unless arrested BEGORE for DV or other violent crimes), his sexual or social issues wasn't discussed bcuz it wasn't "arrest related"

If he added her to the lease, it must have been renewed after the first time he kicked her out. Also, she would have been subject to the same rights and responsibilities as the guy, so he had no right to put her out without a judgement from a court.
