Ricky Dubose 24, and Donnie Rowe 43, are now both in police custody.
While being transported by a prison bus Dubose and Rowe were able to overpower two guards, identified as Sgt. Christopher Monica and Sgt. Curtis Billue, and grab their guns. The guards were later found dead; they had both been shot.
WSB-TV reports that Dubose is a member of the white supremacist Ghostface Gangsters gang. He’s serving time for aggravated assault, burglary, theft, trespassing, armed robbery and fleeing police. The station says that Dubose is serving 20 years. He is a native of Madison County, Georgia.
Fox Atlanta’s Randy Travis reports that Dubose had been sentenced for robbing a disabled veteran. Online Athens reported at the time that the victim was shot in the hand during the robbery. Dubose got 20 years due to the prior convictions he had amassed.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution says that Dubose serving his time at Baldwin State Prison.
According to a Facebook page that appears to belong to Dubose, he puts Ghostface Gangster as his employer. That page also says that Dubose studied music at Athens Technical College and attended Madison County High School.
Rowe Is Serving Life Without the Possibility of Parole
Rowe is serving life without the possibility of parole for aggravated assault and armed robbery in 2002, reports WSB-TV. Like Dubose, he was serving his time in Baldwin State Prison. Rowe is a native of Lewisburg, Tennessee.

There was a markedly increased police presence here during their run. Dubose has a mother that still lives here in Madison county and they considered it a possibility he would try to see her. Extremely stupid of him if he did. But then, anyone who tats himself up like Dubose did.... Ugh. 
Glad the dumb bastards were caught and I hope the young fella with the wife and kids gets the reward. That's be a nice chunk of change to help a young family along in life.

Too good for them rightguy! They ought to both be put in solitary for life and maybe 40 years from now it might begin to occur to them that they did something wrong. They're too dangerous to even be allowed into the general prison population and it's not like they have anything to lose no matter what they do.
