I have just developed the idea and the mentality that I don't care. I send emails out to guys they either respond or don't. I am a BBW. People are suprised to hear that there are woman with curves who belly dance (I am quite good at it).I am in good shape but can't seem to lose weight even with dieting. I have just accepted that I am me. If a person is not willing to except me for me then their lost. Ladies when you read guys profile about the crazy woman that they have gone out with and how fustrated they are, we can just sniker. Because the sane and the beautiful are here. Hopefully everyone will smartin up and realize that looks aren't everything.

I know that I have been just as bad about selcting certain guys to contact or to reply to. It is hard to just go by a picture. I continuely surprise myself when I am out and about being attracted to guys that I meet. I know for a fact that if I saw a pic of that guy I probably would not have talked to this person. But put what they look like, and how they move, and their personality, and they become very attractive. The problem with these site is that it is based off a fist impression picture and what you say, and not the total picture.

Let me just say, i was talking to a guy on here, and we chatted on the phone for a week or so.. then he asked me how much I weighed! That was SO wrong.. He was probally one of the uglyiest guys ive talked to, plus he was an illegal mexcian. But point being he critized my weight and its so annoying. Hes never even met me, so hes the one missing out. Im one of a kind, so im chubby? Big deal, I rather be chubby then be a skinny girl with no boobs are curves, us girl's are the best they come!! SO guys who are going to be judgmental, you can sit on it and rotate. =)

I'm not sure if I fit the BBW criteria or not. I'm 5'2" and 160lbs. I wear size 14 Levis. I have always been on the chubby side. But to me, I am just a "Normal Woman". I love who and what I am. I'm real. I don't go on fad diet's just to please someone. I please me. I eat what I want and I do what I want. I'm just me. If folks don't want to take the time to get to know me as a person....that's on them. I don't need anyone's approval, I have my own.
Being a shorter woman, most men are taller than I am. So what? Personally I like the stocky larger men who are 5'10 - 6'4". Some people think that's weird. Oh well. We all have our preferences. And you know what? In this world, it takes all kinds.
Thank goodness there are people out there that like/love us for who we are. Not their perception of who or what they think we should or should not be.
By-the-way, If I'm out of breath, trust me...it has nothing to do with my weight. (Just a hunch, but I bet skinny people often are out of breath doing some of the things they do too.)
It's not the size of a person that matters.... it's what's inside.

WOW. Im really glad to find this thread.
is it weird that i dont want a guy whose attracted to be JUST for my size anymore then ill accept the judgement of a man who isnt attracted to me JUST for my size.
i think thats my issue . everybodys allowed to see beauty in their own eyes BUT if all of the things that make a person beautiful TO YOU are exterior. it seems more then a little superficial... i like GREAT BIG men im 5 10 & i like to feel feminine like every other women.ive had some wonderful times though with shorter, smaller, slimmer men because i looked past the exterior. & they did too. hang in there everyone. hold out for the person who is KNOCKED OUT by you . we all deserve that. xoalwayslisa

You know until you get to know someone you don't know them. It doesn't matter to me. A few extra pounds or not. Women you are beautiful. It's ok. Skinny, Average, A Few Extra it doesn't matter. If there is someone it bothers well... Maybe it is best to know this upfront.
Too many people are Way to stuck, Way too far offside on Way too many issues to casting judgment on others. We should not be judging others by only this or that or style of shoe. 
We all have likes and dislikes. It is what makes us unique, special, a person. If someone doesn't like you, OH WELL! There are plenty of people whom do like us and accept us for who we are. (Accept my x-mother in-law. I don't think that counts.)
Loving yourself is first and very important. If you are happy with you, it's all good.
Remember it is the quality of good friends not the quantity that counts.

I'm not all about the BBW.. I prefer Fluffy but Cute!! I went from 487lbs down to 215..so I'm less fluffy than before, but still amazingly soft. lol.. Still working out though, so there will be less of me to love, but still the same quality personality with some style and humor mixed in. Consider me signed up!!!

It was hard at first... I mainly ate grilled chicken, bananas and broccoli. Cut off all liquids but water. Babyfood dessert: hawaiian delight or the cherry dessert... for a sweet tooth. No bread, no potatoes. (found a great substitute... cauliflower. boil it and mash it, tastes just like mashed potatoes...and works great as a "notatoe" salad too..
took the stairs instead of elevator and took some vitamins.. that's it!
