I am not suggesting anything, you are the one trying to imply and generalize the way in which you precieve all single mothers to be. I am my own person, I am only me, and quite frankly when it's all said and done, I really don't care what anyone thinks about the fact that I am single mother. I simply do like being sterotyped as something or somone that I am not. Yes I am a single mother, am I ashamed of that?....NO. Even if you personally do not want to accept a single mother into your life, there are plenty of other guys who would not think twice about dating a girl who has a kid. So don't think that you represent all of man kind. You are merely one out of millions.

Well this is quite an interesting thread. Me personally, I won't have a relationship with a women who has a child. Reason being is that I want to have my OWN family. I do not want to become part of one. Because lets face it, dating a mother is not just dating of one person. Its actually dating 3 people. The Mother, the child and the baby daddy. I have no disrespect to any single women with children. I have had my chances with these women but I choose to do the right thing and steer them away knowing that I am not ready to commit to taking care of multiple people

i said much of this in a different thread and some hate harpy said it was because I wanted to be the child.

it's all in the words that choose to use. Everyone has their preferences as to what they want in their potential match, but when you come across as being rude, arrogent, and completely disrespectful is when I have a problem. I am a single mother, and I don't want to date somone who doesn't want the package deal, so if you know ahead of time that you are not interested in then more power to you, good luck in your search and thanxs for not wasting my time. It's the comments that come along with the steriotype of being a single mom that I get defensive about. Not everyone lives have had a fairy tale ending, but we all make the best with what has been given to us. I would not change being a single mom for anything in this world. Someday I will meet somone who will complete my family and my desire to have more children some day.

Personally, I have no problem with women w/ kids. Everybody's got "baggage", for lack of a better term, of one kind or another.
