lots of pretty girls are single due to the fact that they know they are pretty. they set a standard of what they should date, and usually their self image destroys their chances of meeting a "good" guy because their standard removes all the good guys from the picture and only leaves rich musclebound arrogant ambercrombie wanna be popped collar twits in the running. those are not good guys. media plays a bug part what a man should be. when the reality is. any man that loves you. stands by you , and gives everything he is for you is a good man. regardless of what numerical pack he has on his stomach or whether he has a lexus or not.

You're just being cautious and considering your options totally normal not to want to find someone just to be with like most people do. It's better to long for a romantic fantasy than to try and force it and be miserable. I think honestly Maine has fewer options and everything geographically is so distant that it's more of a challenge. To find someone who isn't a good ol' boy who only like hunting and watching nascar while being obsessed with their big truck and drinking is probably a big challenge too. Stick with it, you'll find someone who is your equal, it will happen naturally

I think the real reason you are having a hard time is because your afraid your going to be hurt. When a guy trys to open up to you or give you a key, you run.
You will never move forward with that kinda mindset. You have to take a chance with someone. Prejudging someone before you actually get to know them will cause you to miss the ones that other women will tak advantage of.
