With what you just said in mind, what are your thoughts on predestination? This is something I've always wondered, God is completely sovereign and He said who I did for know I did predestine, yet we know he gave us free will. Just a question that I'm too dumb to answer myself and the way I figure it, in a million years my thought on predestination won't matter anyway but im still curious.

God is outside the dimension of time. I believe He can see the entire scope of it in unison. So, He knows the end from the beginning. Therefor, we are "predestined" to be His "elect". What helped me with this is a little research into quantum theory. Chuck Missler has a great seminar on it.

I think this is it, but might be the next one.

I am not much smarter. I have read that someplace, but I know He gives us free will. You know that doesn't really concern me, because we are supposed to try to get others saved. I think the most important thing is the salvation message, that you believe that He died on the cross for you and become born again, then The Holy Spirit will direct you. The Lord has shown me that all of the arguing is hurting people.

I'm sry, I wasnt trying to start an argument, I'm just curious. I agree with you though. The debate over predestination isn't nearly as important as the gospel.

I agree with you on the fact that God knows everything, the end from the beginning, because that is a Biblical truth. I just think that when Christians use the term "elect" it gives the unsaved this false idea that they don't have a choice... When in actuality God made us all with a free will and sent his only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Predestination can often give people the wrong idea that it is not our responsibility as Christians to tell others about Christ and support missionaries because if they are predestined it will happen regardless... An idea I fear that hinders people from coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. No one is better than any one else, we all are sinners and fall short of the glory of God.

I think we should present the truth, just not cintinually argue about it.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

Listen closely to what your pastors are telling you in your local churches. Look at the fruits that will be produced from their teachings. And are they still concentrating on the milk or are they giving you meat to understand the time we live in now? Could they even by their own unknowing misdirect...

Well, I use the word elect because that's the word God used. What needs to be done if someone objects to that terminology is to have an answer for them. He knew we would choose them, only because He witnessed us choose Him. Anyone has the opportunity to be His elect. Since He knew we chose Him due to His foreknowledge of what we call future, we are predestined, and elected to be with Him.

Romans 8:29
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
Romans 8:30
And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Ephesians 1:5
he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—
Ephesians 1:11
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,

We have to accept the fact that their is " predestination" and we have to accept "free will" both are biblical teachings. The question is how do they both work together?

I think the fact that God is outside of space and time and there for forknows everything is a good answer so far.

ONLY A MAN WOULD ATTEMPT THIS

Pocket Stun Gun, a great gift for the wife. A guy who purchased his lovely wife a pocket stun for their anniversary submitted this:

Last weekend I saw something at Larry's Pistol & Pawn Shop that sparked my interest. The occasion was our 15th anniversary and I was looking for a little something extra for my wife Julie. What I came across was a 100,000-volt, pocket/purse- sized stun gun. The effects of the device were supposed to be short lived, with no long-term adverse affect on your assailant, allowing her adequate time to retreat to safety....WAY TOO COOL! Long story short, I bought the device and brought it home. I loaded two AAA batteries in the darn thing and pushed the button. Nothing! I was disappointed. I learned, however, that if I pushed the button and pressed it against a metal surface at the same time, I'd get the blue arc of electricity darting back and forth between the prongs. AWESOME!!!

Unfortunately, I have yet to explain to Julie what that burn spot is on the face of her microwave.

Okay, so I was home alone with this new toy, thinking to myself that it couldn't be all that bad with only two triple-A batteries, right? There I sat in my recliner, my cat Gracie looking on intently (trusting little soul) while I was reading the directions and thinking that I really needed to try this thing out on a flesh & blood moving target. I must admit I thought about zapping Gracie (for a fraction of a second) and thought better of it. She is such a sweet cat. But, if I was going to give this thing to my wife to protect herself against a mugger, I did want some assurance that it would work as advertised. Am I wrong?

So, there I sat in a pair of shorts and a tank top with my reading glasses perched delicately y on the bridge of my nose, directions in one hand, and stun gun in another. The directions said that a one-second burst would shock and disorient your assailant; a two-second burst was supposed to cause muscle spasms and a major loss of bodily control; a three-second burst would purportedly make your assailant flop on the ground like a fish out of water. Any burst longer than three seconds would be wasting the batteries.

All the while I'm looking at this little device measuring about 5" long, less than 3/4 inch in circumference; pretty cute really and (loaded with two itsy, bitsy triple-A batteries) thinking to myself, 'no possible way!' What happened next is almost beyond description, but I'll do my best...

I'm sitting there alone, Gracie looking on with her head c*cked to one side as if to say, 'don't do it dipshit,' reasoning that a one second burst from such a tiny little ole thing couldn't hurt all that bad. I decided to give myself a one second burst just for heck of it. I touched the prongs to my naked thigh, pushed the button, and . .
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD . . WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION . . . WHAT THE HELL!!!

I'm pretty sure Jessie Ventura ran in through the side door, picked me up in the recliner, then body slammed us both on the carpet, over and over and over again. I vaguely recall waking up on my side in the fetal position, with tears in my eyes, body soaking wet, both nipples on fire, testicles nowhere to be found, with my left arm tucked under my body in the oddest position, and tingling in my legs. The cat was making meowing sounds I had never heard before, clinging to a picture frame hanging above the fireplace, obviously in an attempt to avoid getting slammed by my body flopping all over the living room.

Note: If you ever feel compelled to 'mug' yourself with a tazer, one note of caution: there is no such thing as a one second burst when you zap yourself! You will not let go of that thing until it is dislodged from your hand by a violent thrashing about on the floor.. A three second burst would be considered conservative?
IT HURT LIKE HELL!!!

A minute or so later (I can't be sure, as time was a relative thing at that point), I collected my wits (what little I had left), sat up and surveyed the landscape. My bent reading glasses were on the mantel of the fireplace. The recliner was upside down and about 8 feet or so from where it originally was. My triceps, right thigh and both nipples were still twitching. My face felt like it had been shot up with Novocain, and my bottom lip weighed 88 lbs. I had no control over the drooling.

Apparently I pooped on myself, but was too numb to know for sure and my sense of smell was gone. I saw a faint smoke cloud above my head which I believe came from my hair. I'm still looking for my nuts and I'm offering a significant reward for their safe return!

P.s... My wife, can't stop laughing about my experience, loved the gift, and now regularly threatens me with it!
If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!

This morning, I was given a book by a friend and I'm very interested in digging into it.
The name of the book is "Once Saved, Always Saved" by R.T. Kendall

I got a kick out of it, because I was thinking about our last thread... LOL

EARLY MORNING OF THE NEW WEEK LORD GAVE ME A VERY POWERFUL WORD AFTER MY MORNING PRAYERS.

Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. AMEN! ISAIAH 58:8-11

WISH YOU & YOUR LOVED ONES A BLESSED WEEK

SHALOM!

Ahhh..... majesticone, you might want to look in your own back door before you start pointing fingers.

February 11, 2009 8:43 PM PrintText Another Church Sex Scandal
ByBootie Cosgrove-Mather .Like any mom, Heidi Meyer fixes boo-boos, serves up breakfast and even reviews some math homework.

But every day is a fight for this mom to overcome her past.

"Basically any way that he could put his hands on me, he did," she told CBS News Correspondent Jane Clayson.

From the time she was 10, until she turned 13, Heidi, a Jehovah's Witness, says she was molested by a member of her congregation. Finally, she turned to the leaders of her faith.

And what did they say?

"They asked me, do you think this could be a misunderstanding? And I said, no. No, I'm very sure of how his hands were on my body and there's no way to misunderstand that," Meyer said.

But the elders dismissed her plea for help and sent her away with a warning: "You need to keep quiet about this. You don't want to drag his name through the mud. You don't want to drag the name of Jehovah's organization through the mud."

Bill Bowen, an elder for more than 20 years explained, "Anything that an elder says is viewed as the direct word of God."

Bowen, a former Jehovah's Witness went on, "You could even be excommunicated for questioning what an elder tells you to do. There's no negotiation here. You must obey what the elders direct."

But what silences most victims is that Jehovah's Witnesses require either a confession or two eyewitnesses to any accusation -- making sexual abuse almost impossible to prove.

For Leanna Morley, in Oregon, the abuse started when she was five.

"It's time that the people knew about the secrets that happen in that religion," she said. "It was a living hell."

Sue was seven years old and living in Washington. Her molester later made a chilling confession. He said there were 24 to 42 little girls that he had molested -- he couldn't remember how many exactly.

Bill Bowen says by the end of the year he expects at least 100 lawsuits to be filed against the faith.

The problem is huge, he said. "It's of global proportions. You're talking about tens of thousands of children who've been molested in the last ten years. Tens of thousands, easily."

The Jehovah's Witnesses Headquarters disputes these numbers but says they're aware of the problem -- and cites a letter it published last May. It says "we have long instructed elders to report allegations of child abuse to the authorities where required by law to do so, even where there is only one witness."

There is another letter. It denies Heidi Meyer's charges, saying "... no child abuse involved."

For Heidi, it's another betrayal by a faith she trusted and turned to for help.

"These are your spiritual leaders, these are men appointed by God in the eyes of Jehovah's Witnesses, and who was I? You know, I was just some kid."

As a mom she's still fighting to overcome her past -- even choosing to home school her son because she's afraid to leave him with others.

So Majesticone, There are a lot more of these cases if you would like to see them.

No... I thought not.

The Pathway
March 21, 2012 (Added)

Once I stood in the night with my head bowed low
In the darkness, as black as could be
And my heart felt alone
And I cried, oh, Lord,
Don't hide your face from me.

Hold my hand all the way,
Every hour, every day
From here to the great unknown
Take my hand,
Let me stand
Where no one stands alone

Like a king I may live in a palace so tall
With great riches to call my own
But I don't know a thing
In this whole wide world
That's worse than being alone

Hold my hand all the way
Every hour, every day
From here to the grave unknown
Take my hand
Let me stand
Where no one stands alone

This room topic didn't ask if you were religious tercium, it is for those who are BORN AGAIN. Have you been born again, a second time from above as Jesus said you must, being made alive or regenerated by the Holy Spirit, if you want to enter the kingdom of God? (John 3)

John 3:3,5-7 Jesus answered & said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, "Except a man be born of water & of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the [bodily] flesh is flesh & that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

And as the apostle John said you must be born of God to become His child.(John 1:12,13)

John 1:12,13 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name; who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

And as the Apostle Peter said, that you must be born again. (I Pet 1:23-25)

I Peter 1:23-25 Being BORN AGAIN, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth & abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass & all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth & the flower thereof falleth away:
but the Word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached to U.

And as the apostle James refers to, being born of God. (James 1:18)

James 1:18 By His own choice (will) God gave birth to us by the Word of truth so that we should be a sort of first-fruits of all His creation.

And as the Apostle Paul taught. (I Cor 15:49,50; Gal 4:29)

1 Cor 15:49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh & blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal 4:29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.

If you can honestly admit you are not born again, please let us know. If you have been spiritually born again by the Spirit of God after being physically born, please share your testimony about how you became born again. Thank you.

Welcome to the DH Group, Blue.

I felt a bit of embarrassment, frustration as I scanned the comments in your initial thread. Sadly, there appear to be many enemies of the Cross who come to the Christian group, to extinguish, rather than encourage and comfort.

What I do now, when I am inspired, is create a thread that has some significant hope stirring message. I post it and leave it, trusting God will use it for those you need it. I dare not enter into any of the quarrels, disputes, and name calling. We must be so much further along than that now,... for it may well be very soon., our Master will return, and should not find us wanting.

Good to see a young person such as you, a believer. God keep you in His faithfulness.

THE NAME OF THE MESSAGE IS:
A CALL TO COURAGE
___________________________________________________________________________
The Key verse

(Joshua 1:9)
Have I not commanded thee?
Be strong and of a good courage;
be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed:
for the Lord thy God is with thee
Whithersoever thou goest.
_________________________________________

The Scripture Reference is

Joshua 1:1-9
I’ll read it later
I WILL COVER 3 POINTS
THEY ARE A CHALLENGE FOR ALL OF US

POINT 1.) Believe we can make a difference, and be
world changers for the cause of Christ.

POINT 2.) Fulfill our destiny and purpose in & through
our Lord Jesus!

POINT 3.) Be honest, ethical, fair, and just; to be people
of character and integrity, that we will have a
good witness for our Lord Jesus!

Point 1
To BELIEVE we can make a difference, and be WORLD CHANGERS for the cause of Christ!

I’m going to tell you of a story about a tightrope walker named Blondin. He strung a tightrope across Niagara Falls, then
before – ten - thousand - people, he inched his way - from one side of the falls - to the other. When he got there the crowd began shouting his name. BLONDIN! BLONDIN! BLONDIN!

Finally he raised his arms, and quieted the crowd, and shouted to them, ” I AM BLONDIN! Do you believe in me?” (How’s that for an ego trip?) The crowd shouted back,”
We believe! We believe! We Believe!”

Again he quieted the crowd and once more shouted to them, ”I’m going back across the tightrope, but this time I’m going to carry someone on my back. Do you believe I can do that?” The crowd yelled, “We believe! We believe! We believe!”

He quieted them one more time and then he said, ”WHO will be that person?” The crowd went dead. Nothing!

Finally, out of the crowd stepped ONE MAN. He climbed on Blondin’s shoulders and for the next 3 ½ hours, Blondin inched back across the tightrope to the Canadian side of the falls, and made it.
___________________________________________________

The point of telling this story – We may say we BELIEVE all we want, but all of us only really trust and believe in God when we get – on - board and trust in the Lord enough to go with him and do what he wants us to do. We must trust him that he knows best, and he will take care of us.

We MUST believe in Jesus, the way the MAN who got on the back of the tightrope walker BELIEVED IN THE TIGHTROPE WALKER.

We MUST BELIEVE We can make a difference and BE
* WORLD CHANGERS *

Jesus said, ”go ye unto all the world and preach the gospel.” It sounds like a really big task, but he wouldn’t have told us to do it if he didn’t already KNOW we could do it. That sounds like he believes we are supposed to be world changers to me!

If he Knows than shouldn’t we?

POINT 2
To fulfill our destiny and purpose
in & through our Lord Jesus!

Now I’m going to tell you a true story that really inspired me. In high school one of my best friends had an older brother, in his early 20s, this brother was mentally impaired. He couldn’t read past a 1st or 2nd grade level, he couldn’t even add 3+3. But he was a musical genius; they said he could play over 30 different instruments at concert level. I saw him play about 14 or 15 myself. his favorite instrument was the flute. So for the sake of all of you who are hearing this message, I will call him fluty. He really amazed me.

Fluty had a lot against him besides just his mental impairment. His mother was great, really sweet, a real encourager for fluty.

But his father was NOT, he was his stepfather, and he called him dumb and stupid and would always put him down, and tell him he was an embarrassment to him, and tell him he would never amount to anything. Plus his family was very poor.

His mother told him that wasn’t true and God had a plan and an awesome destiny for him. Fluty was a Christian, and with his child like faith, he BELIEVED what he learned at church, and from his mother.

I don’t really know how he learned about the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, but when his father said mean and cruel things, Fluty would just look at him and sweetly say, “dad that’s not true, one day I’m going to play for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, you’ll see. I know that’s what God wants for me.” I heard him say it over and over again.

I have to admit; even I had my doubts at the time, after all, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra is WORLD-RENOWNED, and fluty in some ways had the mental ability of a 6 year old. But fluty never wavered, and he would go in the garage at there home and play instruments from MORNING to DARK most of the time. About a year after I knew them he really did try out for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and HE – GOT - IN! and as far as I know he still plays there.
______________________________________________________

We may say we believe, but Fluty really truly believed. He never wavered; he knew what God wanted him to do. He trusted God and didn’t ever doubt, he went to doing what God wanted him to do with everything in him. Fluty may have been mentally impaired, but in my opinion, Fluty was smarter than a lot of people in that way. We could all learn a lot from him, to DO what God has called us to do with EVERYTHING in us. To TRUST - HIM. To NEVER WAVER.
We need to KNOW what our destiny is in Jesus, & go for it like Fluty did.

We MUST BELIEVE we can make a difference, and be WORLD CHANGERS for Jesus. JESUS SAID, ”GO YE unto all the world and preach the gospel.” It sounds like a really big task, But he wouldn’t have told us to DO IT, if he didn’t already KNOW we COULD do it. That sounds like he knows we are supposed to be world changers to me! If HE believes than SHOULDN’T WE?

FLUTY BELIEVED, and acted on it. If Fluty can do it, with all of his disadvantages than imagine what any of us can do for the Lord if we go for it with everything in us like Fluty did. We just need to learn what our purpose and destiny is in & through Jesus, who we are in him, and who he is in us, and go for it, like Fluty did, with everything we’ve got in us!

POINT 3
To Be honest, ethical, fair, and just; to be people of
character and integrity, that we will have
a good witness for our Lord Jesus!

We can preach the Gospel all we want, but without treating people with dignity, fairness, and justness, and treat them the way we would want to be treated, showing them prober respect they will not respect us because we are not respecting them.

People watch everything we say and do, I know it sounds very cliché, but we are the only Jesus some may ever see. We need to have integrity, and be people of character.

The bible says we are supposed to be the salt of the world. Why do we like salt on our food? Because it changes the taste of the food for the better. If you have just plain potatoes, and you add more potatoes it will still be pretty bland potatoes. But add a little salt, and butter and it makes a WORLD of difference. Why would a sinner want to be a CHRISTIAN if we are JUST – LIKE - THEM, what would be the point.

But a CHRISTIAN who really DOES follow God, and live the way God intends us to live. Now THAT’S SOMETHING to change for. That can CHANGE a world!

Jesus’ disciples KNEW their purpose and destiny.

They knew WHO they were in Christ, and WHO he was in them

They acted on it!

They lived a life of good character, integrity, and honesty. They were ethical, fair, and just. They had a good witness. Because of all this they made a difference in the world, they were world changers.

There ministry is still changing lives 2000 years Later.

You may be only one person hearing this, or you may be a small group, but weather you are one or a few or many, Paul was one and look what God did through him, the disiples were a small group and look what God did through them. Just imagine what we could do for Jesus if we really know WHO we are in him, and WHO he is in us, and if we KNOW our purpose and destiny in & through him, and went after it with everything in us.

(Joshua 1:1&2)
1. Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying:

2. Moses my servant is Dead: Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

Moses that did great things for God was now dead and gone. God told Joshua it was his turn now to be the leader, Moses took them to the promise land, he got them to the entrance. But Joshua was being commissioned to be the new leader, to take the mantel, to go further and lead them to cross over, from the wilderness into Jordan, God’s promised land.

Who will be the Joshua’s for this day. Who will stand and take the mantel. Who will have the courage to lead God’s people to take our land for Christ!

The bible says that God is no respecter of persons, so if he will do it for Joshua, he will do it for us. If we will be strong, courageous, if we will obey God, if we will follow him, go, and take this land for Christ, the way Joshua took that land for God.

Than every place that the sole of our foot shall tread upon, that don’t mean we sit on our seats of do nothing and think that they (sinners) will just magically appear inside our churches. That don’t mean we talk about doing something to take this land, it says every place where the sole of your feet TREAD UPON. To tread upon something you must take action! Treading upon something means you actually go to the location, otherwise how can you be upon it! Not just expecting it to just fall in our laps. The bible says we are to go OUT into the highways and byways and compel them (sinners) to come in. What if Joshua had just sat on the other side of the Jordan, and said here’s the promise land well just stay here and talk about how God promised us this land, and God will bring it to us. And they just expected God to just dump it in there laps. No, that wasn’t the deal. God took them to it, and he did promise them the land, that’s true. But he gave the job of stepping out in faith and taking the land to them. He wanted them to fight for it. He wanted them to go for it with everything in them. He wanted them to see God in the winning of the Battles so their faith in him would grow. He wanted them to have a reason to obey and follow him. He wanted them to see that when they went with God and did right than he would protect them, and they would win battles, but if they didn’t do right then his hand of protection came off. He didn’t tell Joshua to just sit on his duff and wait for the land to magically clear it’s self out. He told Joshua to go and take the land.

God told us the same thing, he said, Go ye unto all the world and preach the gospel. He didn’t tell us to sit on our duff and talk about preaching the Gospel. He didn’t tell us to just preach it in the churches, that’s great, but he said go out to the highways and the byways. He said, GO YE, unto ALL THE WORLD. A lot of us talk about it, but how many of us have even went to our next door neighbors house, or our unsaved family and friends. O, we may pray for them to get saved, for God to save them and bring them in, but God didn’t just tell us to PRAY, he told us to GO! We’re expecting God to do everything, when God has already gave us stipulations just like he did to Joshua. He told Joshua to go and take the Land. If Joshua didn’t obey than they would never have had the promise land. He told us to – go to all the world and preach the Gospel. Who will stand up and be the Joshua’s for this day, and take this land for Christ? If we don’t obey and do what God said to do than, how can we expect for the gospel to be preached to all the world!

But if we be strong & courageous, obey God and trust him, and go take this land for Christ, if we follow Joshua’s example, than we will be able to take this land for Christ. God is no respecter of persons, he will give us Every place that sole of your foot shall tread upon, the same as he did to Moses, and Joshua.

I hope this is a some words of encouragement to some of my new on line born again friends.

Quote from brashdoc:

Thank you.

Without Jesus, I would be dead, or on drugs and alcohol, sad, depressed
miserable and be as mean as some of these trolls on here..

thank you Lord for the Fruit of the Spirit, that leads me to
answers, peace, love and acceptance of others.
People who disrespect each other's faith, are not very happy
people and love drama (it seems to me)...

Those are the ones we should pray for, as well as new Christians
coming in here and reading some of the garbage of others who
are evidently unhappy and controlling...

For all new Christians, let God lead you to ones who really
are living in the fruit of the Spirit..
Galations chapter 5.

Pray for the ones who are so negative on here..
Many on here are Christ-like..
and forgive me Lord, for all my sins... In Jesus name...

Dhimmitude

Why would this word be used in OUR healthcare system at all? Something to give pause and think about...

Dhimmitude - What does it mean? Obama used it in the health care law. Now isn't this interesting?

Dhimmitude - I had never heard the word until now. Type it into Google and start reading. Pretty interesting. It's on page 107 of the healthcare bill. I looked this up on Google and yep, it exists... It is a REAL word.

Word of the Day: Dhimmitude

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam.

ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States. Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking", and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

How convenient. So I, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time if I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Dhimmitude.

American citizens need to know about it Check it out on Snopes.com - http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/exemptions....

Jesus said to him,"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we must be saved."(Acts 4:12)

Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say unto you, unless one is BORN AGAIN, he cannot see the kingdom of GOD."(John 3:3)

and saying,"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. REPENT, and BELIEVE in the GOSPEL."(Mark 1:15)

American citizens need to know about it Check it out on Snopes.com - http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/exemptions....

I do wish people would check the credibility of the sources that they get in email chain mailings - the above is totally bogus - the poster never even went to the site to read what Snopes had to say - I know she didn't because the link given above does not work.

This is the link:

Praying for Our Land
by Beverly Whitt

Praying for our Country? Watch how you pray!.......... notice:

2 Chronicles 7:14. 'If my people, which are called by MY NAME (Christian!)
shall humble themselves,
and pray,
and seek my face
and turn from THEIR wicked ways,
THEN will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive THEIR sin,
and will heal their land.'

Read this very carefully! God is not asking you to pray that your neighbor changes his ways.
He is asking you to prayerfully change your own wicked ways. THEN He can forgive you and
heal your land.

He is telling the Christian to mind his own p's and q's. Never mind what the non Christian does.
He is saying the Christian is guilty of wickedness. The Christian is the one that must repent.
God will handle all others.

For instance:
We can not say that liberal's need to change their ways....to save the nation.....They don't
have that power. God is interested only that His people live the pure lives, they know how ot
live.

In my forum, "Seek Righteousness' tells how God sees this. "If there are 10 righteous men can,
be found, I will not destroy." Noah was righteous, and by that his whole family was saved.

Why is this?

There are two standards of life on earth.........

Worldly vs. Spiritually

and......... Never the twain can mix.

1 Cor 5:12. For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? (non-Christian)
Do you not judge those who are inside? (We can and must judge (admonish) the wayward Christian.)

12. But those who are outside God judges.

(There are somethings that is just God's business alone,
not any of ours.)

We cannot profile unbelievers with our chosen standards,
The code we live by and the code they live by are vastly different.
We must understand this.
We cannot expect them to understand our choices.

The best of both worlds?????? You cannot serve two masters.
No room.....you either are or you aren't!
Which master we choose becomes our standard of living.

Lest we have forgotten, we were born worldly
....................'but for the grace of God, go I'.

1 Cor 5:12. For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside?
Do you not judge those who are inside?
12. But those who are outside God judges.

If we expect God to take care of His own.....He has to be able to see the difference.

If America has lost it's protective hedge.....it has lost more than that, by our carelessness!

Unless one has chosen God, he lacks the Holy Spirit:
John’s Gospel 14:17 "the Spirit of truth,
WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE,
because it neither sees Him
nor knows Him,
but you know Him, for
He dwells with you and will be in you.

For the world, seeing is believing.
It is difficult at best, for them to imagine something like Faith,
..........having faith in something that is unknown. unseen.

They lack confirmation from the Holy Spirit.
( Something I like to call our sixth sense.)

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.

Our understanding comes from the Holy Spirit:
1 Cor 2:6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature yet not the
wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to
nothing. (and can not possibly understand)
7. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery,
the hidden wisdom
which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
8. which none of the rulers of this age knew;
(the Holy spirit does not dwell within them)
for had they known,
they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9. But it is written: "Eye has not seen nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those
who love Him.
10. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.
For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
11. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man
which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except
the Spirit of God.
12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who
is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely
given to us by God.
13 These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches
but which the The Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things
with spiritual. (and Scripture with Scripture)
14. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of
God., for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned.

(The natural man: It is impossible to explain the Scripture so that
it is understood by such a one, nor can they read for understanding,
he lacks the Holy Spirit for guidance. He doesn't understand it, so he has
to have a defensive answer. His answer is, " it is all Fairy tales".
Church goers are not immune....
.If their saving didn't take, they still lack the Holy Spirit.
Being in church does not make you a Christian.
They just haven't yet made that important step.)

2 Cor 4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled,
it is veiled to those who are perishing.
4. Whose minds the god of this age has blinded,
who do not believe,
lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ,
who is the image of God,
should shine on them.

Heb.11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him,
for he who comes to God,
MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS,
and that He is a rewarder of those who
diligently seek Him.

Urgent, earnest and sincere prayer..... Seek out the sin that hides itself.....that it can be corrected.

Self evaluate:

Titus 3:1 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work.
2. to speak evil of no none, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.
3. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures,
living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.
4. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared,
5. not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His mercy He saved us, through the
washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
6. whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.
7. that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8. This is a faithful saying and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed
in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

Avoid Dissension

9. But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law, for they are
unprofitable and useless.
10. Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition.
11. knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.

"And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone,
able to teach,
patiently enduring evil,
correcting his opponents with gentleness.
God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth." - 2nd Timothy 2:24,25
