As for lying I see both points. I personally would perfer the softening like no those jeans don't look as good on you as that other pair does. Also people should becareful of what they ask make sure you want to hear the answer. Now for the lies that come with cheating both are totally wrong. Lets say that the person doesn't lie about cheating and tells the truth their is the possiblity for some to forgive and go on. If they lie and the spouse finds out later the chance of forgiveness has droped out of the picture possible. If you love the person you are with you will not cheat on them. If you do it you must not love them the way you should. Here are the words to define deceitful... dishonest, deceiving, fraudulent, untrustworthy, cunning, lying, devious, cheating and faithless. I got these off of the bing dictionary. So no someone who is decietful is the worst of all.

@plans4two...I'm sorry that happened to you..I am fortunate in that while married neither cheated...and if we remarry it will be the same.. 
I hope that works out for you. It is good to see someone who sticks by a commitment.
It is not often we see this side of a marriage because the ones happily married don't come here often to hear their side of the story.

I bet a lot had to do with closeness of the community, too. Family looked after family, neighbors knew one another. Things didn't come so easily and you valued what you had more.

But we can't change other people...only ourselves. The way to a sense of peace, is to ACCEPT others just as they are and realize our own limitations to make it easier!

She has her blond hair buried in the sand from all the shame
She has let her forbidden pleasures turn her crazy.
She looks for her Trojans every night..
She has so many tainted memories she wonder if she will ever be sane.
She hear the screech of the forbidden pleasures.
She is so full of venom she is shameless.
Her body is no longer a temple but ruptured by the vibrations of her lust.
She abandons all rational thoughts
She just play peoples like a puppet on a string.

What if a man was talking with a woman real serious on here and making plans for the future.
Then he turns around and hides the fact he is also spending weekends with someone else.
Then has two women stay the weekend with him all this time hiding it from the lady he is making plans with. What does that make him and what does that make the women.
Now turn it around the women also knew he was real serious with this lady, and they did not care one bit what she might even think about all this nor did they care.
So what would that make them IMO that makes them no better than a two bit street walker standing on the Conner
This lady and I had been talking for a year or so. We planned to meet and her Mother had a turn for the worse so it was all postponed. But we talked every day, sometimes 4 to 5 times a day hours on end and made many plans for a future together. What gets me is she use to talk so bad about this man and how he played all the women and she couldn't stand that. I didn't know they were also talking on the phone and had met and spent multiples weekend with each other before it was all exposed on line. When I saw the picture of Her, this man and another lady posted I was really hurt and shocked. I had no idea about them planning to meet. She called me right after the picture was posted and was begging me not to be upset about it. I ask her how hurt the other lady was going to be she said she didn't care how anyone felt about it. Sounds like "your" woman friend wasn't any better than him, she was the one playing you, just my opinion though. You made your point too Dimples, now you need to let it go as well. Preaching doesn't help. Everyone heals differently. Some take more time than others. We cannot tell other how we think they should feel. I can only extend open arms and hope with my heart that he will heal so the hurt will ease and they no longer have power over him.

Exactly Ms Zoe, we can not tell others how to feel. Nor should we tell others that we are the only ones that care about them. We can however mention to them if we are concerned for their health and well being if we are educated on the subject, and KNOW that carrying stress for a long period of time, can and will make a person sick...

Anyone can trace your posts jeff and see you have made your snide remarks to me. What they don't know about this whole situation and one reason I don't forgive you is that we talked on the phone THE DAY BEFORE you had the woman I was making plans with, serious plans and I told you how much I cared about her and about our plans. You had her to your home for a 3 day meetup anyway and didn't even bother to mention it to me. I found out after the fact by seeing the pictures you posted with your arm around her. You are lower than a snake!
I am sick of you rubbing it in my face.
