The morning after,
his emotional disaster,

Praying he's alright,
Pleading with him to no longer fight.

But to instead open arms
-Stop setting off alarms
and to not feel everything is a slight.

And just know "everything can be alright".

Sitting 'neath the poet tree
Gazing at the blue sky above me
As far as the naked eye can see
Puffy, billowing clouds curry.

A memory fresh from times log past
Leave the heart a'twitter; the mind aghast
A lifetime it all did last
Love in the country, there was no worry.

I spent my time watching
the spaces that have grown between us.
And I set my mind on second best
or the scars that come with the greenness.
And I gave my eyes to the boredom,
still the seabed wouldn't let me in.
And I tried my best to embrace the darkness in which I swim.
Now walking back down this mountain
with the strength of a turning tide.
Oh the wind's so soft on my skin,
the sun so hard upon my side.
Oh looking out at this happiness,
I search for between the gloom,
Oh feeling blind and realize,
All I was searching for will come soon.
Keep your head up, keep your heart strong.
Keep your mind set, keep your hair long.

~~~~~Warrior Woman~~~~~
As my heart beats a rhythmic throb
I go about my usual job
I come and go as I please
Never bending a weakened knee.
I amble along on my way
Say things as I may
My voice is strong, loud & clear
Only the truth of it some will fear.
I live my life as is my wont
For this my ancestors died and fought
My strength lies not within another
But was handed down from my mother.
A woman has the spirit and guile
To be anything .. for a while
She may possess the soul of a giver
Or be fragile and soft .. a full-life liver.
Be not dismayed if the warrior blood
Courses through her veins .. its all good
This woman before you now stands
Not intimidated by child, beast or man.
Open your heart .. nee your soul
For the woman in me is my toll
I carry my burden and fight my fight
But a woman's gentle heart is my plight.
Loss And Gain by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
When I compare
What I have lost with what I have gained,
What I have missed with what attained,
Little room do I find for pride.
I am aware
How many days have been idly spent;
How like an arrow the good intent
Has fallen short or been turned aside.
But who shall dare
To measure loss and gain in this wise?
Defeat may be victory in disguise;
The lowest ebb is the turn of the tide.
If I had my life to live over,
I would have waived my loftier goals.
I would have married my highschool
Sweetheart,
And set the table to include 6 bowls.
Two little boys and two little girls,
And we at the heads of the table,
But I can't live my life over,
So it is all written like a fable.
I didn't know where he was "headed"
Except I knew he would never leave town,
And I fancied myself instead,
At executive dinners in a gown.
Being all I could be, I thought meant leaving "home",
And spreading my wings to see where I could prosper, outside a "dome".
But I know I always would have wondered what was out in that big wide world,
If I had remained rooted and close,
Like a flag never unfurled.
We only have one life to live,
With so many options of where and how to give,
We can never really know if our choices were the right way to go,
But in fantasies we always leave what could have gone wrong,
And in our imaginings, it would have been a "perfect" way to live.
Some fairytales do come true ~~~
Yes, it could even happen for you
But all our imaginings are not real
They are in our mind .. for the thrill
One who seeks from the bold
Finds a keeper among the fold
To keep that happiness in the fore
One laughs and jests, when less is more.
In this life-loving of human endeavor
'Tis best to hold tight, a romance to savor
Reality is the only way one can live
What one needs, the other shall give
It doesn't require much to live in harmony
Because true love and respect are the key
So if your head has been in the clouds
Step forward and declare yourself now
For as the sands, through the hourglass flow
You may miss the one whom you sought, so
Stand tall and proud, and declare from your heart
This is our reality, where do we start?
One life..one story
Seldom find fame or glory
The little things are what we need
No reward for kindly deed
Love and honor and friendship too
Happiness found in old things new.
I find it hard to shed a tear
You brought it all on yourself my dear
Wrong, yes you may be
Don't leave a light on for me
Cause I ain't going there
A hundred years will never ease
reading things no one believes
I saw it with my own two eyes
All the pain that you can't hide
And this pain starts in your heart
And this bashing tears yourself apart
You won't find me bent down on my knees
Ain't bending over backwards baby
I won't respond, Not to please
stick with your own kind
It will help you to unwind
I have my friends and there is no doubt
ones I trust,and do not pout
They fit right in and play along
Happiness has been our song
Happy posting and have fun
Don't think of me I got to run.......
The distance between you and I
Is only a heartbeat away,
For you and I dwell in each others heart
There forever we will stay...
You know all my emotions,
Many they may be,
You know when to be gentle,
And when to chastise me...
Two gentle souls deeply connected,
Thoughts not spoken,
There is no need...
For the other knows what one is thinking
Even before they speak...
So with all the love I have
In my heart today,
I want to express to you
These feelings, I want to stay........
The sun descending in the west, the evening star does shine; the birds are silent in their nest, and I must seek for mine. The moon, like a flower, in heaven's high bower, with silent delight sits and smiles on the night. (William Blake)
With so many thoughts, running round in my head
I'll write a few here, but will any be read
If life is a journey, with a beginning and end
Brief stops on the way, for mistakes we might mend
Who is to say, what is right, and what's wrong
What's good for the goose and the gander as along
There's a smile in our hearts, as most days we pass
Just don't eat at Mo's, or you'll get really bad gas.......
Oh Cisco...
Oh Pancho...
Fog
The fog comes on little cat feet.
It sits looking over harbor and city
on silent haunches and then moves on.
We've been leading this way for a while
always keeping our hearts to denial
But the rules of the game are as such,
there are some things you never should rush.....
With the way that your looking tonight,
it was only a matter of time
Before i get so overwhelmed,
that i just could not help myself.......
I said, I love you,I didn't mean to
but the moonlight just gave me away,
Now that I said it,trying to forget it,
and pretend it was all a mistake.
I keep trying,to deny it,
this feeling that I know must be true,
Stumbling and falling and still after all,
I keep falling in love over you......
What's the point of this masquerade,
after all of the cards have been played,
Now,there's nothing for me left to hide,
I hope I have fate on my side.......
Either way i got nothing to lose,
surrender is all i can do,
And if you should be mine in the end,
I'll remember it all happened when.......
God knows I love you........
I hate that smile
plastered across your face.
It never ceases and those
white bubbly eyes never loose
that perfect glaze. It makes me
jealous that you are able
to retain such a smile every day
without ever letting it fade.
But this is where we differ. Unlike
you, I am real. I feel pain
and emotion. You, you just lay pinned
to the wall
with a thumbtack sticking through your azz.
Stupid frog, stop smiling;
you're not real, so stop
acting like you are.
Sweet Afton by Robert Burns
Flow gently, sweet Afton, among thy green braes,
Flow gently, I'll sing thee a song in thy praise;
My Mary's asleep by thy murmuring stream,
Flow gently, sweet Afton, disturb not her dream.
Thou stock-dove, whose echo resounds through the glen,
Ye wild whistling blackbirds in yon thorny den,
Thou green-crested lapwing, thy screaming forbear,
I charge you disturb not my slumbering fair.
How lofty, sweet Afton, thy neighbouring hills,
Far marked with the courses of clear winding rills;
There daily I wander as noon rises high,
My flocks and my Mary's sweet cot in my eye.
How pleasant thy banks and green valleys below,
Where wild in the woodlands the primroses blow;
There oft, as mild Evening sweeps over the lea,
The sweet-scented birk shades my Mary and me.
Thy crystal stream, Afton, how lovely it glides,
And winds by the cot where my Mary resides,
How wanton thy waters her snowy feet lave,
As gathering sweet flowrets she stems thy clear wave.
Flow gently, sweet Afton, among thy green braes,
Flow gently, sweet river, the theme of my lays;
My Mary's asleep by thy murmuring stream,
Flow gently, sweet Afton, disturb not her dream.
walking in the shadows
that sounds like me
looking in life's windows
wondering what can it be
to see you there
so near,yet so far
wondering what if
as i look at a star
I think of life's wonders
as I sit here and gaze
you sure make me think
and you sure could amaze
holy shit,I don't know why
looked out the window and started to cry
seen a rainbow bright and new
not only one,but I saw two
green on bottom,the one below
green on top the second one showed
what a sight for my eyes
God's gracious wonder,ain't no lies
makes one think of the
beauty that is a bound
saw it myself
with no one around.......
happy fourth of July.....
There's a ghost down in the hall
there's a ghoul upon the bed
there's something in the walls
there's blood up on the stairs
and it's floating through the room
and there's nothing i can see
and i know that that's the truth
because now it's onto me
I don't understand it
There's a tapping in the floor
there's a creak behind the door
there's a rocking in the chair
but there's no-one sitting there
there's a ghostly smell around
but nobody to be found
and a coughing and a yawning
where a restless soul is going
And who gave you the right to shake my family?
and who gave you the right to shake my baby,
and who gave you the right to shake my family tree?
you put a knife in my back
shot an arrow in me!
tell me are you the ghost of jealousy
where is a restless soul a going
where could it be heading
want a piece of me or are you just threading?
booh!my ghost,booh!
Once upon a time a frog Croaked away in Bingle Bog Every night from dusk to dawn He croaked awn and awn and awn Other creatures loathed his voice, But, alas, they had no choice, And the crass cacophony Blared out from the sumac tree At whose foot the frog each night Minstrelled on till morning night
Neither stones nor prayers nor sticks. Insults or complaints or bricks Stilled the frogs determination To display his heart's elation. But one night a nightingale In the moonlight cold and pale Perched upon the sumac tree Casting forth her melody Dumbstruck sat the gaping frog And the whole admiring bog Stared towards the sumac, rapt,
And, when she had ended, clapped, Ducks had swum and herons waded To her as she serenaded And a solitary loon Wept, beneath the summer moon. Toads and teals and tiddlers, captured By her voice, cheered on, enraptured: "Bravo! " "Too divine! " "Encore! " So the nightingale once more, Quite unused to such applause, Sang till dawn without a pause.
Next night when the Nightingale Shook her head and twitched her tail, Closed an eye and fluffed a wing And had cleared her throat to sing She was startled by a croak. "Sorry - was that you who spoke? " She enquired when the frog Hopped towards her from the bog. "Yes," the frog replied. "You see, I'm the frog who owns this tree In this bog I've long been known For my splendid baritone And, of course, I wield my pen For Bog Trumpet now and then"
"Did you… did you like my song? " "Not too bad - but far too long. The technique was fine of course, But it lacked a certain force". "Oh! " the nightingale confessed. Greatly flattered and impressed That a critic of such note Had discussed her art and throat: "I don't think the song's divine. But - oh, well - at least it's mine".
"That's not much to boast about". Said the heartless frog. "Without Proper training such as I - And few others can supply. You'll remain a mere beginner. But with me you'll be a winner" "Dearest frog", the nightingale Breathed: "This is a fairy tale -And you are Mozart in disguise Come to earth before my eyes".
"Well I charge a modest fee." "Oh! " "But it won't hurt, you'll see" Now the nightingale inspired, Flushed with confidence, and fired With both art and adoration, Sang - and was a huge sensation. Animals for miles around Flocked towards the magic sound, And the frog with great precision Counted heads and charged admission.
Though next morning it was raining, He began her vocal training. "But I can't sing in this weather" "Come my dear - we'll sing together. Just put on your scarf and sash, Koo-oh-ah! ko-ash! ko-ash! " So the frog and nightingale Journeyed up and down the scale For six hours, till she was shivering and her voice was hoarse and quivering.
Though subdued and sleep deprived, In the night her throat revived, And the sumac tree was bowed, With a breathless, titled crowd: Owl of Sandwich, Duck of Kent, Mallard and Milady Trent, Martin Cardinal Mephisto, And the Coot of Monte Cristo, Ladies with tiaras glittering In the interval sat twittering -And the frog observed them glitter With a joy both sweet and bitter.
Every day the frog who'd sold her Songs for silver tried to scold her: "You must practice even longer Till your voice, like mine grows stronger. In the second song last night You got nervous in mid-flight. And, my dear, lay on more trills: Audiences enjoy such frills. You must make your public happier: Give them something sharper snappier. We must aim for better billings. You still owe me sixty shillings."
Day by day the nightingale Grew more sorrowful and pale. Night on night her tired song Zipped and trilled and bounced along, Till the birds and beasts grew tired At a voice so uninspired And the ticket office gross Crashed, and she grew more morose -For her ears were now addicted To applause quite unrestricted, And to sing into the night All alone gave no delight.
Now the frog puffed up with rage. "Brainless bird - you're on the stage -Use your wits and follow fashion. Puff your lungs out with your passion." Trembling, terrified to fail, Blind with tears, the nightingale Heard him out in silence, tried, Puffed up, burst a vein, and died.
Said the frog: "I tried to teach her, But she was a stupid creature -Far too nervous, far too tense. Far too prone to influence. Well, poor bird - she should have known That your song must be your own. That's why I sing with panache: "Koo-oh-ah! ko-ash! ko-ash! " And the foghorn of the frog Blared unrivalled through the bog.
I’m bleeding out,
It's the last thing that I do
Oh, to bring you down
I’ll bleed it out for you
So I bare my skin And I count my sins
And I close my eyes
And I take it in........
When the day has come
But I’ve lost my way around,
And the seasons stop and hide beneath the ground
When the sky turns gray And everything is screaming
I will reach inside Just to find my heart is beating
Oh you tell me to hold on.......
But innocence is gone And what was right is so wrong
When the hour is nigh And hopelessness is sinking in
And the wolves all cry To fill the night with horror
When your eyes are red And emptiness is all you know
With the darkness fed I will be your scarecrow.....
But innocence is gone And what was right is wrong
Cause I’m bleeding out.......
If the last thing that I do Is to bring you down
I’ll bleed it out for you........
a heavy heart is one for sure
a nastiness that one endured
a thick blood cell from you I see
a cut so deep,it will not bleed..
an open heart was offered you
an ugly past was sure endured
an openness was past on to
an honest answer was always true..
and we gave it up
and hope was gone
and what you meant
and what was wrong..
anger the present
anger the past
anger your sorrow
anger at last..
What I noticed today
Surprised me in a way,
as the storm came passing through
I seen a lot and I don't recall
Flowers never bend in a rainfall
Through the corridors of sleep
Past the shadows dark and deep
My mind dances and leaps in confusion.
I don't know what is real,
I can't touch what I feel
And I hide behind the shield of my illusion.
The mirror on my wall
Casts an image dark and small
But I'm not sure at all it's my reflection.
I am blinded by the light
Of God and truth and right
And I wander in the night without direction.
There's no difference if you're born
To play the King or pawn
For the line is thinly drawn between joy and sorrow,
So my fantasy becomes reality,
And I must be what I must be and face tomorrow,
But flowers never bend in a rainfall......
I awoke today I awoke today
one sick man; one sick man;
first the sweats first the sweats
then the chills then the chills
diarrhea's seduction diarrhea's seduction
a runny red nose a runny red nose
belched cough belched cough
sneezes from hell sneezes from hell
full body ache. full body ache.
Sound like the flu Sound like the flu
one would surmise, one would surmise,
with the exception of this. with the exception of this.
I had a flue shot a month ago. I had a flue shot a month ago.
Give me a break, Doc; Give me a break, Doc;
I've had enough I've had enough
Please ! Please !
The poison frog looks at sky
He croaks in joyous sound;
The storm gathers
The rain gathers
The typhoon adds additional
Clouds at brim
The poison frog looks at sky
He laughs and asks;
Where will amphibians
With no houses
And many toads
Go for shelter?
I, the poison frog, the rough,
The hairy and the stingy
Shall the toad of anyone
Touch me in my house
I shall poison it, it, it, it It, it..............................
......the poison frog sings
There he sits
A spotted frog
He grins from ear to ear
Waterbugs quake across the
Pond's surface
The spotted frog sits
Stone-still on his perch
Silently stalking a humming dragonfly
His eyes shimmer
His mouth waters
His tounge is itching to snap out
And snatch the poor bug's life
His prey draws closer to his Invisible enemy
All of the sudden
The urge is too strong to contain
His tounge snaps
The dragonfly silently flaps his last
Wingspan, breathes his last breath
The frog has devoured the innocent Creature
There he sits A spotted frog
Silently stalking another dragonfly
The urge to hurt and devour
Too strong to subdue
CARRY YOU HOME LYRICS.....
Trouble is her only friend and he's back again.
Makes her body older than it really is.
She says it's high time she went away,
No one's got much to say in this town.
Trouble is the only way is down.
Down, down.
As strong as you were, tender you go.
I'm watching you breathing for the last time.
A song for your heart, but when it is quiet,
I know what it means and I'll carry you home.
I'll carry you home.
If she had wings she would fly away,
And another day God will give her some.
Trouble is the only way is down.
Down, down.
As strong as you were, tender you go.
I'm watching you breathing for the last time.
A song for your heart, but when it is quiet,
I know what it means and I'll carry you home.
I'll carry you home.
And they were all born pretty in New York City tonight,
And someone's little girl was taken from the world tonight,
Under the Stars and Stripes.
As strong as you were, tender you go.
I'm watching you breathing for the last time.
A song for your heart, but when it is quiet,
I know what it means and I'll carry you home.
I'll carry you home.
MY REPLY TO James Blunt
tender are precious moments
tender are so many life's
tender is feeling pain
tender is sheltering from rain
carry you home,means so much
precious women shall not be touched
the war goes on,caused by man
woman are treasures,and should be protected........
whilst fretfully she sleeps
Frog Prince kisses the Princess
turning her into a beautiful frog
yes, and well...they lived
happy ever after as water
in the bottom of a deep deep well
what kind of fairy story
were you after....
ahhhh the grim human kind
frog prince & frog princess
hop happily about a bit
eating delicious(ribbit) flies
oh how our love has
spawned tadpoles
will be tadpoles I suppose
now it's time for us to
croak it remembering
our happy once upon a times
Said Frog papa to Frog mamma,
'Where is our little daughter?'
Said Frog mamma to Frog papa,
'She's underneath the water.'
Then down the anxious father went,
And there, indeed, he found her,
A-tickling tadpoles, till they kicked
Their tails off all around her.
Missing all my friends that have gone away
Wishing them all well..but wish they could stay
Just to lend an ear or spread a smile
A lingering laugh once in a while.
Same thoughts...Just a different day.
Where ever you are ...I pray you're safe.
Noticing many blank spaces......
Awaiting the return of friendly faces.
Kiss me now kiss me then
Your lips so soft I need you again
Kiss so special, so perfect so right
Eyes engage for an endless night
Kiss so soft kiss so sweet
Behind your kiss a hidden treat
Kiss so special kiss surreal
No kiss from the past has this feel
Kiss so good kiss so great,
Kisses from you almost seem like fate,
A Kiss from me a kiss to you,
kisses from you are always so true,
Kisses a plenty kisses a few,
This kiss this feeling I never knew,
A kiss from you needs me to make two....
If questioning would make us wise
No eyes would ever gaze in eyes.
If all our tale were told in speech
No mouths would wander each to each.
Were spirits free from mortal mesh
And love not bound in hearts of flesh
No aching breasts would yearn to meet
And find their ecstasy complete.
For who is there that lives and knows
The secret powers by which love grows?
Were knowledge all, what were our need
To thrill and faint and sweetly bleed?.
Then seek not, sweet, the "If" and "Why"
I love you now until I die.
For I must love because I live
And life in me is what you give.
Written with a keypad.
Sealed with a kiss.
If your my friend,
please answer this:
Are we Friends or are we not?
You told me once But I forgot.
So tell me now and tell me true,
So I can say,I'm here for you...
Of all the friends I've ever met,
you're the one,I won't forget.
And if I die,Before you do,
I'll go to heaven And wait for you...
I'll give the angels,Back their wings
And risk the loss of everything.
Just to prove my friendship is true
to have a friend,a friend like you!
The first time I saw you
I'll never forget
The sweet aura around you
Just caused me to melt
As we moved on throughout time
It has gotten sweeter
Sweeter with time
When friendships undergo a test
It's often found old friends are best
The sampler on the parlor wall
Has these few lines which say it all
The best of friends can change a frown
Into a smile when you feel down.
The best of friends will understand
Your little trials and lend a hand.
The best of friends will always share
Your secret dreams because they care.
The best of friends, worth more than gold,
Give all the love a heart can hold.
When I post here,cause I am down
Guess who always comes around
A friend or two to help me out
to lift me up when I am down
Thanks to you I can go on
and thanks to you for my smile.....
I love all my friends here........
Each day I wake from my sleep
Rise up to greet the sun
Without you how could I ever keep
All the good things that are done
Smiles and laughs and flirty signs
And little hellos and are you fine?
Deep inside this wandering soul
I sometimes get lost, away I go
But friends like you pull me near
Always there to kill the fear.
So days go by but I never forget
Friends like you, so glad I have met.
Where is my broken heart?
It was here yesterday.
It was here the day before,
I shook hands with it just last week.
Where is my broken heart?
Have you seen it anywhere?
Did you steal it away from me
when I wasn't looking?
Or did it take flight all on its own?
Where is my broken heart?
Did I leave it with you?
Did it fall from the shelf?
Did it whither or melt?
Where is my broken heart?
It was the only thing I had left
To hold me tightly at night
and accompany me during the day.
If you see my broken heart
please tell it I miss it
and that I love it
and I that want it to come back to me
So I can feel whole again.
Ok here it is.......
A careful man I want to be,
A little fellow follows me.
I do not dare to go astray
For fear he'll go himself the same way.
I cannot once escape his eyes,
What ever he sees me do, he tries.
Like me he says he's going to be,
The little fellow who follows me.
He thinks that I'm so very fine,
Believes in every word of mine.
The base in me he must not see,
The little fellow that follows me.
I must remember as I go,
Through summer's sun and winter's snow,
I'm building for the years to be,
The little fellow who follows me.
The sage philosopher at night,
When other men are breathing light,
Out of a troubled sleep I see
Start up in bed, holding the key!--
And wrap him in his dressing-gown,
And get him up and set him down,
And write enough to ease his head,
And rub his hands, and go to bed;--
And at the window, peering through,
All this time--the Bugaboo!
(continued)
Yet, if, in the foggy Aleutians, if on the misty
Island of Kiska, island of Attu, any
Flower, however weak and bleak, appears
In spring, between the cloudy craters, why then, although
It should take us a thousand years,
We can stare into the fog until it shines, we can force it to
unfold us.
We must ask the men who have been there; they will know.
(and then)
Life, were thy pains as are the pains of hell,
So hardly to be borne, yet to be borne,
And all they boughs more grim with wasp and thorn
Than armoured bough stood ever; too chill to spell
With the warm tongue, and sharp with broken shell
Thy ways, whereby in wincing haste forlorn
The desperate foot must travel, blind and torn,
Yet must I cry: So be it; it is well.
So fair to me thy vineyards, nor less fair
Than the sweet heaven my fathers hoped to gain;
So bright this earthly blossom spiked with care,
This harvest hung behind the boughs of pain,
Needs must I gather, guessing by the stain
I bleed, but know not wherefore, know not where.
