Any ideas on what to do with the jeans that you cannot wear. Mine is still in a great condition, the zipper is gone bad. Anyone?

I've been making bags out of my jeans since I was a young girl..You can custom it to be anyway you want and make make-up bags to match.

That is a neat idea. I use the legs to mend other jeans. Or I make "bag socks" out of the legs. To hold your plastic grocery sacks. Or cut the legs off and use the pelvis area as a purse.

Cut the jeans into square blocks. Sew the blocks together alternating different color denium. Sew wrong side out with red thread. Once you get the blanket or quilt the size you want, wash so the edges will raval. Trim with scissors to get rid of long strings.
Bind with red fabric to secure edges.
Makes a great lap blanket, couch throw, bed spread, etc.

Jean purses bring back old memories - they've apparently never went out of style. I love the apron idea since they'd be great for working in my garden

i was going to suggest this as well. Great for blocking out wind as well to use over a baby carrier
