To take an old sailing ship across the Atlantic. There are still a couple that make the passage. No casinos, movies, shuffleboard, chlorine filled pools, packed dining rooms or loud people. Just a lounge chair, a good book, a wooden ship on the open ocean and moonlight sparkling off each foam filled wave as they slowly roll by... The only thing that could make it better would be a little

Despite I've seen all Europe, and most of Africa, I've always wanted to go to the far east (China - Kambodia, maybe Japan).. ..and now I'm in America for a year. I think God is just having a good time sending me everywhere but where I want to.
I really love your country tho, it's a fantastic place... I mostly see stuff from above tho, but it's very fascinating.

What is the obsession with Australia? 99% of it is desert, the only populated parts are on the very coastal regions, where the heat and humidity are high. Flies stick to you constantly, the place is full of Australians, and the beaches have no fish due to bottom trawling! It is over-rated! Great if you love to get sunburnt and have a sickening fetish for shopping malls! The US malls are bigger and better... IMO! Much of the coral is dead and dying on the Barrier Reef, so if you are going to see this, you better hurry up.
Anyhow, I'd like to turn South America inside out and back to front. My next destination will probably be Vietnam and Cambodia. Love Asia and love the Asians.

Roadtrip throughout Mexico. Down to the Caribbean coast, up the Pacific coast and
maybe a quick ferry ride over to Baja.lol OK, the mountains near Ajijic and Morelia too.
Swimming, c*cktailing, relaxing, checking out real estate, eating fresh seafood and fruit.
Slow paced, maybe a month or 2. If you are already there, I`ll meet up with you.
Come on guys, isn`t there just one adventurous gentleman? 50/50 split! Friends, maybe more
no pressure, no rush. No shoes, no shirt(ok, shirt for me) no problems!!!
You know you want to. There you sit, all retired, twiddling your fingers...

My dream trip is going to be next year. I'm going on a cruise to Hawaii!!!! I can hardly wait. I've already booked the room, so now checking on all the things to do. I'm thinking of coming into Honolulu the day before, so I can get acclimated to the time change. I've been on 2 cruises, so far & love it.

I've been wanting to travel to Dubai ever since I found out it existed 4 years ago. I've fallen in love with everything about it. Oman, UAE and Cairo, Egypt are also on my list. I'll keep praying I get to one of these beautiful places soon.

When I went I was expecting to see a lot places that involved Cleopatra. Come to find out it had been removed. So I was told, Alexanderia is the only place that you can see her

Just got back from a trip to Africa...never dreamed I'd ever go there. I even managed to climb up the mountain to meet the gorillas! Now I'm working on an Asian trip with my grandaughter next summer. I got the bug bad!
I'd like to go back to Italy. My dream trip is ALASKA and to see the Aurora Borealis.
I've been in every state except......ALASKA. Want to go so bad, I can't stand it. Right now will have to settle seeing it on the Discovery Channel.

To get there for me it would be 4 connections via plane and a yacht to get to the island I want to get to.
Hmmmm - Just can't seem to stomach all that travel time unless I can stay for 2 weeks or at least 1 week, then another in Australia or Hawaii.

You might want to get to everest base camp from the Tibet side, travelling through tibet will climatise you to the altitude better than coming in from Nepal...You can go to nepal after and frankly you will appreciate it after tibet.

My dream trip was Canada near Washington State Vancover . It has the most beautiful mountains and trees there . Cant say too much about overseas, Germany was very nice , the rien mien river. The rest I visited was not a pleasure trip it was with non profit work and very dangerous work helping those with human rights issues. Middle East I would not recommend being there . Spain is very nice Marid. Swiss area is very cold but very nice people . Central American beautiful , but around Panama too many mosquitoes and they have ding ga disease due to them in those areas. But I think my dream place would be to see India.

Tour Europe...see Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy, etc...see the castles, eat the food, experience the culture, discover the land my family is from in Germany, and just enjoy the experience.

In all honesty though, I really wouldn't mind going back too Afghanistan and really seeing the natural, beautiful scenes it has to offer once the war is over. It was a rugged, hot and cold place with extreme temperature differentials. It has places much like our Arizona desert coupled with the Khyber Pass which reminds me of the mountains around Colorado or Montana. Too bad the war is ongoing there. Otherwise it would be a gorgeous place to visit and go fishing with a real fishing rod. We got our trout the old fashioned mil-spec way when I was there.
I had researched traveling the overland route from Europe to India back in the late 70's, the Iran Hostage crisis killed that, then the Russion war in Afghanistan started and it hasn't really been possible sinse that time. I met people that had done that route, the thing they all talked about was Afghanistan, this was before any of the wars had ravaged the country.
My dream now is a world sailing cruise, these stories are great:

My dream trip would be to the UK, especially Ireland. My grand mother's grand parents came from there. Grand ma always wanted to visit it but didn't. She wanted some heather. Anyway, my dream trip would be to go to Ireland and pick up some heather. Then plant it at Grand ma's grave. She is and was a very influential person in my life.

My current dream trip would be traveling to Washington State to visit my grandmother. Shes getn real old and scares me that i might not get to see her or tell her face to face that I Love Her. I live in Virginia and gas prices have been keeping from traveling. Plus not sure my vehicle would make it. Ive prayed for this trip many times to come true. Will there b a miracle?, i sure hope so.

My dream will probably be two separate trips because one is in asia and the other is in Scandanavia. For Asia I want to see the Everest Himalayan region as in Tibet, Nepal and down into Northern India. Would love to trek to a basecamp of one of those climbing expeditions too. For my other dream its just about getting to meet my ancestral roots which would be Ireland and Denmark, but would surely check out Sweden while there. They have a few 500 year old universities I want to visit...I can't wait but I'm not ready to do it yet

You know, for the longest time, I wanted to go to Australia. Yes, it was mainly the women there - and the beaches. Of course, I didn't get stationed on the right side of the States to go there either, so I had to wait til I got out of the military.
Well here I am 14 years later in Australia - been here since September of last year. I did come here 10,000 miles for a woman, which of course it did fail miserably very recently - lasted about 7 or 8 months. However, after being here, I have come to find that, after having been to 17 other countries, with Haifa, Israel and Valletta City, Malta having been my favourite places of all time (and Koper, Slovenia shortly behind them), Australia is in fact my favourite place and dream trip.
The end result? While I have to go back home to the States next month (which, honestly, I am not looking forward to), I hope to be able to come back here as soon as humanly possible and make a living. Sad to say in some ways, but happy in other ways, I can actually consider Australia "home" - it's where my heart has been all of this time.
And of course when I come back, I hope to be able to explore it more thoroughly

I dream alot, but some of them, I have made come true. A vacation is something I look forward to once a year. I have seen alot of the states, and Canada, having lived so close to it....but a dream trip would definitely be Rome Italy....Vatican City....the culture, art, and history.....
the Grand Canyon is something my son says I have to see....and I have heard an Alaskan cruise is to die for.....but outside of USA definitely, Rome!

I often think that I would love to go to Australia. I worked with a woman who was from Australia. She prefers the USA. I know the beaches are suppose to be spectacular. I love the white sand and just sitting listening to the ocean. I spend my winters in Florida and spend lots of time on Anna Maria Island-Bradenton beaches.
The only other place like I would like to go is back to Paris, France. I went there when I was in my twenties to marry a soldier-my first love, so this would be my second choice. A great place for romance!
