Maybe I'm young and jealous, or jaded, but does this age gap seem too big? The 23 year old had no job, car, money, and this 35 year old gives her everything. They are engaged after only 3 months, he made her boss at a job she knows nothing about, and gave her a car. He's divorced with 3 kids, fat, and a jealous a**hole. last year this girl cut herself in front of me, she told me kill myself in a time of need, and she's slept with well over 13 people at 23.
Do you think she's ready to be a step mom, and do you think this relationship is normal?

Yeah, I agree. The age difference doesn't seem out of line to me either, but the other situations do. I just knew this girl for a year, even telling me things like she would leave him for me one day. it's a mess, but I really do wish her the best in life and hope it works out.

It does sound like YOU want to be with her. But if she chooses to be with him you have to let that be. They both might be making a mistake, & not because of the age difference. But if they are, you have to let it be.

When I was young I always dated older guys..my first husband was several years older than me..my sister in-law is 15 years younger than my brother and they've made it work..their kids are both grown now and the marriage is still going strong..I see nothing wrong with their age difference..it's between them..

The older guy is a fool. Sounds like a divorce waiting to happen and it won't turn out well giving her a job she is unqualified for though it is politically correct.
