I agree with the above about Cruz - he's not eligible for POTUS. If he is nominated, I wonder if the libtards will raise hell, demanding that he's not eligible for similar reasons that WE raised hell about Oblama being ineligible. We should also, otherwise wouldn't we be the hypocrites?
The same for Rubio - ineligible: although he was born here, both parents were not citizens.

Rafael Edward Cruz --was born in Canada in 1970 because his father was working for the oil industry there. The senator’s recently released birth certificate shows his mother was born in Delaware and his father was born in Cuba. The Cruz family left Canada a few years later. Cruz grew up in Texas and graduated from high school there, later attending Princeton University and Harvard Law School.
By virtue of his American-born mother, Cruz, 42, considers himself a natural born citizen and eligible to run for president.
So is he eligible? The vast majority of legal thought and arguments indicate he is.
Is there the tiniest sliver of uncertainty? Yes, there’s that, too.
Constitutional requirements
The Constitution says any candidate for president must be 35 years of age, a resident within the United States for 14 years and a "natural born citizen."
We’ve looked at the question of natural born citizenship before. Back in 2008, people raised questions about the "natural born" citizenship status of both major party candidates.
We’ve fact-checked several statements about President Barack Obama’s place of birth and his birth certificate. Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and his mother was a U.S. citizen. His father was Kenyan.
We also looked at the case of John McCain, who was born in the Panama Canal Zone because his American father served in the military. McCain, the 2008 GOP nominee, saw his standing briefly challenged in court.
Interestingly, both of McCain’s potential Democratic opponents -- Obama and then-Sen. Hillary Clinton -- co-sponsored a Senate measure to settle McCain’s eligibility. The April 2008 resolution said, "John Sidney McCain, III, is a 'natural born Citizen' under Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States."
Defining "natural born"
So what is a "natural born" citizen? The Constitution doesn’t specifically say.
In 2008, we reviewed research and polled several legal experts. The consensus was that someone is a "natural born" citizen if they have citizenship at birth and don’t have to go through a naturalization process to become a citizen.
If that’s the definition, then Cruz is a natural born citizen by being born to an American mother and having her citizenship at birth. (This same logic would apply to Obama, even if he were born in another country, which he wasn’t.)
The Congressional Research Service published a report on the issue after the 2008 election; the agency is tasked with providing authoritative research to all members of Congress. It, too, supported the thinking that "natural born" citizenship means citizenship held "at birth."
But the Supreme Court -- the ultimate arbiter of constitutional questions -- has never ruled on the matter. And that means a note of uncertainty remains.
Sarah H. Duggin, a professor of law at Catholic University, has written about and studied the issue extensively. She told us in 2008 that the question of natural born citizenship is "one of the most deceptively simple, complex issues."
We reached her again this week to ask about Cruz’s eligibility. "It would be reasonable to interpret the Constitution’s natural born citizenship provision to include children born abroad to U.S. citizens, including Senator Cruz, for a number of reasons," she said.
But is it 100 percent sure?
"Unfortunately, we cannot say for sure without either a definitive Supreme Court ruling, or an amendment to clarify the Constitution."

I posted this peculiarity last week. It has become increasingly conspicuous, annoying even, that while the rest of the world refers to the c*ckroaches beheading innocent people, including children, across Syria and Iraq, as ISIS, or IS, King Hussein, and the rest of his administration insist on referring to the lice-ridden scumbags as ISIL.
“Tomaytoes/tomahtoes?” I don’t think so. If you look closely at the literal, geographical difference between the two acronyms, it appears that there is much more to the story.
ISIS is an acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which includes only territory within the clear borders of those two sovereign countries. ISIL is an acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
The “Levant” includes Israel.
Ostensibly, anyone referring to this nest of rats as ISIL, and only as ISIL, while the rest of the civilized world refers to them as ISIS, is denying the existence of Israel, a point much harder to support had not that talking point made its way to every official mouthpiece of every agency and department within the federal government.

I never questioned McCain as I can remember still yet in grade school in the 1950's going through all this in school government class. and as far as McCain their was never a dought if your father is serving in a forign country and your born in a millitary facility you can run for president. but back in the 1950's it stoped their. Civilins born in a forign land and parents american, could never run for the top spot and hear both fathers are forign and that clinches it for both Obama & cruz 
Maybe the consitution has ben changed but I don't know that it ever has.
If a current democrat and cruz was my only choice sure but makeing it two in a row ain't right

Guess Which Then-Senator Met With Iraqi Leaders Urging Them To Ignore A President’s Negotiation Strategy In 2008. I’ll Bet You’ll Never Guess

Libs are whooping and wailing over the 47 GOP senators who sent a letter to Iran warning them that any agreement Obama negotiates must go through them first.
Accusations of “treason” and “un-American” are flying around.
But a few years ago, a U.S. Senator did something much more nefarious.
While George W. Bush was trying to negotiate a drawdown of our military presence in Iraq back in 2008, a Senator sent a delegation to Baghdad and met privately with Iraqi officials, urging them to reject any of President Bush’s overtures, saying the Bush Administration was in a “state of weakness and political confusion.”
That senator? Now-President Barack Obama.
A New York Post article from 2008 details how adamant Obama was that Bush and his team were weak and that the Iraqis should wait until a new administration stepped in (him, presumably) to re-start negotiations.
But that’s the past, right? Everyone from Harry Reid to Joe Biden are on the attack. “Fuming,” as they say. “In thirty-six years in the United States Senate, I cannot recall another instance in which Senators wrote directly to advise another country,” Biden said.
Well, maybe that’s true. Obama didn’t “write” to advise another country. He sent his people to fly there and met with them face-to-face.
Perhaps Biden’s loophole in making his 36-year representation is that the message Senator Obama allegedly sent was not in written form. It was a verbal message delivered to Tehran’s leadership by Ambassador William G. Miller, who assured an enemy who was at war with us that a President Obama would be much more amicable to deal with.
While Biden suggests the GOP letter “undercut” Team Obama’s negotiations with Iran, what impact does he think presidential candidate Obama’s emissary had?

Obama’s father was a Muslim, which de facto makes him a Muslim, and he is considered Muslim in the Muslim world. Take, for example, Meriam Ibrahim. Her mother was Christian and raised her a Christian. She married a Christian, lives in America and has Christian children. But when she returned to Sudan to visit family, she was arrested for “apostasy” — in other words, for leaving Islam. She was nine months pregnant and forced to give birth with her legs shackled, leaving her baby deformed. This is Islamic law. She is considered a Muslim even though she has never been a Muslim, because her father was a Muslim.
Obama, on the other hand, was raised a Muslim, and went to Islamic school in an Islamic country (Indonesia) from the ages of six to eleven. He was tops in his quran class.
Obama was “previously quite religious in Islam.”
He is pro-jihad and it is clear in his foreign policy.

There's a huge difference when comparing Oblama as a senator and Boehner and his crowd.
1. Boehner invited Netanyahu to deliver a speech to Congress. It cannot be construed that Boehner coerced or influenced Netanyahu's speech whatsoever.
2. On the other hand, Oblama sent his crew and intentionally interfered and coerced judgement by the Iraqi's against Bush who was negotiating with Iraq with whom we were having a WAR!
IMO, Oblama should be held for treason - interfering and coercing an enemy of the USA to NOT negotiate an arms/peace treaty with the USA or whatever it was. If Bush had succeeded without Oblama's "input" to Iraq, tons of implications can be construed regarding the actions of Iraq since Bush's attempt -- for example - perhaps ISIS/ISIL would not have the power and influence they have today and perhaps Iraq would be "free" rather than being held hostage by terrorists AND they may not have the stranglehold they now have in Syria.

The Islamic Tribunal in Irving Texas was/is unlicensed. By their own website’s admission, if U.S. law conflicts with Sharia law “we follow Sharia Law” It openly admitted separate rules for men and women in their proceedings, discriminating and humiliating women is against the U.S. Constitution. The Islamic Tribunal openly declares, that they hope it will set a precedence, that will be emulated and duplicated throughout the country.
Shortly after Obama became president, he stated that he thinks Sharia law would be good for America. I am asking my Democrat friends or if you voted for Obama, if this is what they want. I'd love to read the article or see the video where Obama said that! Seems to me he's always stood up for equal rights for all, women included.
Anyway.....It's time to move on. It won't be long and Obama will be history. We have an election ahead of us. So far, only Ted Cruz has declared his candidacy. Let's all "open our eyes" and find out what he has to offer. That is if his opponents (the birthers) don't decide to challenge his eligibility. The Trump already says it could be a problem for Cruz.

Most Prominent News Organization in America Drops Criminal Bombshell Against Obama
Well did we really need the AP to tell us this, we already knew that the Obama administration is the most non-transparent in American history.
(Conservative Tribune) Bombshell reporting by one of the world’s best-known news entities, the Associated Press, revealed that the Obama administration ranks worse than any other administration in history when it comes to being transparent and breaking the law.
“The Obama administration set a new record again for more often than ever censoring government files or outright denying access to them last year under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act,” the AP reported.
Sometimes the administration simply took an incredibly long time to turn over requested files. At other times the administration claimed that it was unable to find the files.
Even worse, the Obama administration on several occasions withheld or outright censored records for reasons that “were improper under the law” — or illegal for short.
Meanwhile, the backlog of unanswered requests grew by 55 percent last year, while the number of employees assigned to look for records fell by nine percent.
The administration also interfered with local police operations. During the Ferguson fiasco, for instance, the feds ordered local officers “to restrict airspace” and thus hide the violent race riots from news helicopters.
Federal officers also ordered various local police departments across the nation to remain quiet about an undercover telephone surveillance device known only as Stingray (H/T Western Journalism).
What all this means, argued the AP’s chief executive, Gary Pruitt, is that “the systems created to give citizens information about their government are badly broken and getting worse all the time.”
Herein lies the reason we as concerned citizens must remain ever vigilant of our own government, which the facts prove is constantly up to no good.
Here also is the reason why our legislators need to reign in the Obama administration, because nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the government should be in the business of committing crime.

The Anthem Veterans Memorial, located in Anthem, Arizona, is a monument dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of the United States armed forces. The pillar provides a place of honor and reflection for veterans, their family and friends, and those who want to show their respects to those service men and women who have and continue to courageously serve the United States.
The memorial was designed by Anthem resident Renee Palmer-Jones. The five marble pillars represent the five branches of the United Statesmilitary. They are staggered in size (from 17 ft to 6 ft) and ordered in accordance with the Department of Defense prescribed precedence, ranging from the United States Army, the United States Marine Corps, the United States Navy, the United States Air Force and the United States Coast Guard.

Cruz on Tuesday told The Des Moines Register that his family is looking at plans offered under the health care law.
The Cruz family previously received its coverage through a plan offered by his wife's employer. Heidi Cruz is taking an unpaid leave of absence to help her husband's campaign and is losing access to her health care plan.
The Texas Republican has been a strident opponent of the health care law, also known as Obamacare. He still is telling voters that he will repeal the law if elected president in 2016.

AUSTIN, TX (GOVERNOR ABBOTT'S OFFICE) - Governor Greg Abbott has filed an amicus brief in opposition to the Obama administration's Emergency Motion for Stay Pending Appeal in the case to halt President Obama's executive amnesty. The Governors of Louisiana, New Jersey and South Dakota joined Governor Abbott in filing an amicus curiae or friend of the court brief.
"President Obama and his lawyers have shown an alarming lack of respect for the Rule of Law throughout this entire judicial process," Governor Abbott said in a statement. "I expect their request for a stay to be denied so these proceedings can continue, and I am confident the case will ultimately result in victory not only for the State of Texas, but also for the Constitution of the United States."
In the brief, the Governor says the states have two interests in defending the preliminary injunction entered by the district court: to protect the executive branches in the Governors' states from "irreparable injuries," and to rebut "the arguments offered by the State of Washington on behalf of 13 other states."
The brief goes on to highlight that, while the State of Washington may prefer the immigration policy embodied in the President's executive action, this case is not a debate about immigration policy; instead it is about the Constitution and the President's most recent attempt to circumvent it.
The Governors' brief emphasizes that Congress passed the federal immigration laws in 1952, and that those laws have been amended numerous times over the ensuing decades. Those efforts by previous Congresses and previous Presidents mean nothing if they allow the current President to unilaterally dispense with those statutes, unilaterally create a new immigration system, unilaterally create new employment and social welfare programs, and insulate the entire effort from judicial review.
