Guess I don't look at winks , or give them out.

I think it's polite to have a picture.also using the person screen name when sending a note of interest.

Hopeful at least read their profile,so you have something to mention of content.

I don't get messages from anyone except scammers and people 5 states or so away - I rarely bother reading them unless the person is actually in the state.

I don't come on this site very much anymore. Every time I login it creates a bunch of fake notifications and a few new scammers. No one's really even having much "real" conversation in the forums... Not knocking the folks in the forums because I know some of them and they are pretty cool, but I had my fill of word games a couple of years ago already...

Sorry to be Mr. Negative, but.... Maybe I just want something a little deeper :o)

Would rather get a message, but a wink doesn't bother me. I actually met one person that was really nice. Asked her why she sent a wink and she said she was just seeing if I would be interested in her. Never got a wink that was spam, but got plenty of long messages that were.

Even tho I don't wink or respond to winks,I think most of us take distance in consideration.I have met people states away, even Canada.Always with an understanding if I travel or they travel stay in motel, for safety reasons. At least the first night, until you know you can trust them that 100% to have them i spare room at your home.
