Can they replace Jordy Nelson, Packer? Folks wonder why they don't start the big names during preseason and what happened to Jordy Nelson is the reason why.

spygate, deflategate, all the cheating the patsies do, and the NFL can do nothing?????

so Reggie Wayne takes matters into his own hands, signs with patsies in off season, asks for his own release, and is a late cut from the patsies. Do you think he took the playbook with him?????

nothing like a good conspiracy theory

@ SORP,

It sounds like the NY Giants and JPP are miles apart on JPP's playing status. What are you hearing about this in your local media?

It sounds like this story is going to have another sad ending just like so many stories do among professional athletes who don't take care of their personal well being off the field or off the court.

Hear JPP can't sign as franchise player because it's pro rated should he miss games...I believe he will not play or he may by Sunday but not without a contract in hand not to lose money...he did a quick exit back to Florida but maybe he's back soon enough, maybe not...right now the giants need a healthy Cruz and a few others...but JPP can he use a meat hook and make tackles... my money is on Odell Beckham to be doubled and perhaps when Cruz plays the tight ends see more passes..but def is suspect until I see them Sunday Night in action...

Btw anyone hear of Texas model Lauren Williams and her long legs measuring 49 inches...maybe she'll be the half time show Sunday night...Fuhgeddabouit

Hey tater she's hot for you...

Im not a pats fan 1st off. But this is ridiculous oh the headset is messed up boo freaking who. They aren't on them that much anyway. When talking to the QB they only have a few seconds. Did anyone ask if the pats where having the same issue? The media parasites blow things way outta proportion. Hell they can't even come up w new headlines. It's this gate or that gate blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Every team cheats in some form or another

Three things that stood out most to me yesterday were:

1/ How good Buffalo looked against a good Colts team
2/ How the Rams didn't quit against a good Seahawks team
3/ How Phillip Rivers TORCHED the Lions defense with 404 yards in the air

torched is the right word tommy. The difference between the first half and the second half was staggering. After being up 21-10 and playing solid defense in the first half, the Lions defense looked as if they were asleep in the second half.

key for me in that game was that the Lions, who just couldn't put anything together in the third quarter, only targeted the best receiver in the NFL 4 times in the game. Calvin Johnson was totally ignored by the Lions Offensive coordinator. How does that happen?

And yes, tommy, I have defended Suh out here. I did NOT see the play in question yesterday, but I will tell you this: The Chargers don't score 33 points on the Lions yesterday if Suh was still here. How the Lions deal with him being gone will be one of their stories to follow throughout this season.

I hear a story that JPP is having more skin graph surgery and must sign by 6th week, pro rated, of season even if he doesn't play this season but giants can add him as franchise player next season...if beason plays yesterday perhaps his experience woulda stopped that play by Romo for win...give credit to cowboys executing against rookies on defense but Eli why didn't you take a sack or when the refs put huddle time back on clock you had 40 seconds not to snap the ball but you snapped with 20 seconds or so...Fuhgeddabouit

...I hear Jennings was told not to score...why wouldn't he score as it coulda been a 10 point lead before Romo did his heroics and job..

...other thing obviously missed was the cromartie interference,,,bad call plus Dallas scores...a bad loss because wins may come at a premium,,,one other thing giants lost in 2007 season opener but giants won the SB that season...omen...maybe or Fuhgeddabouit

I finished Sorp's NFL week #1 Howdy Doody newspaper contest 13-3. He might not invite me back for week #2! What did I win? Not even a free Papa John's pizza! Who knows how Sorp finished since he changes his picks every five minutes.

I don't know what you're noticing Sorp. He had no passing TD's.

Jose, Your defense looked great and Hyde is a beast so no TD passes from Kap were needed tonight.

9ers won that game on first downs of most drives...like avg of 6 yds,,it was like a pitcher getting ahead of batters with a first strike....,notice kappy puts an arc on ball...I think you personally were keying on AP all nite...what 10 for 31 yards...Fuhgeddabouit ...Mr Hyde is not a Dr Jekyll

True Tommy. Hyde was looking as good as your guy Alfred Morris. Hopefully the running game opens it up for Kap going forward.

At least Hyde didn't get his helmet kicked off his head like Suh did to Alfred Morris yesterday. I'm still waiting for the league office to render their fine and/or suspension to Suh for his latest dirty play on that one.

Suh should have been the bad guy in a professional wrestling ring to make his living and that just might end up being his profession before long.

the league office DID issue a statement on the play tommy is referring to. There is no penalty on Suh.

Poor Al. Maybe he needs to fasten his chin strap.

Like we used to say in basketball on the playground.....no blood, no foul.
