I've been wanting to attend a conference or retreat for quite some time but wasn't able to due to the cost and the transportation issue.
This weekend, I'd planned to have a friend over for the weekend, as I usually do. She has a difficult living situation, so I let her camp out here, when she wants to.
Well, she called and said that she would be going for a job this weekend. I'd also planned on having another friend for dinner on Friday.
Thursday night, I get a message on Facebook asking if I'd like to attend the Women of Faith Conference at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. She said her group had an extra ticket and would be glad to give it to me. What a blessing! She also arranged a ride with a really nice lady, who I know I will be seeing in the future. My lunch was also included on Saturday. 
I can't tell you how blessed I am! The conference was fantastic with amazing speakers and a singing group. Imagine hearing 10,000 people all singing in one place!!

It was 94 today and very hot to say theleast, but had to go to the store. So off I went in my powerchair and as I was going down the sidewalk I had seen cross walking guards to walk the children across the street, and most of them were elderly people, with no water. Gosh gosh gosh I told myself. Before I left the house, I had taken 4 bottles of water fresh out of the fridge for the ride. But as I neared I knew what I had to do, so as I crossed the street I gave each one as I went a bottle of water, and smiled, and went on without conversation. It made them smile. They opened it up and drank from it. I was so blessed today. Thank you Lord for all your kindness.

I had an appointment today that went okay, not great.... but I did get blood work done and am praying for the results. When I came out of my first appointment, there was a small area of tables where produce was being sold really cheap. It was locally grown. 
I also hit up the food bank and got a lot of fresh produce, which isn't always the case. God is good.
Late in the afternoon, I was supposed to go to Applebees with a friend but she cancelled. That, too, was a blessing because, at that point, I was getting worn out.

My nephew's surgery went well.
My Mom is feeling a little better today.
She found out  about her what was supposed to be Surprise 83rd Young Birthday Party .
My Children Grandchildren & Grt.Grandchildren,
Nieces & Nephew's & There Children.
Going to have 5 generations pictures taken.
I'm so excited I finally found & bought a new to me car.
A van I can put my wheelchair in & out behind the driver's seat by myself !
Now I can take my MOM to viset her
sibling's.
Hopefully before she starts radiation & chemo.
  I can run away to the coast.
Seep in it next to the light house & sleep for a week. Listening to nothing but the ocean sea birds & fog horn

A couple of friends (who are married) took me to breakfast. The wife had ordered blankets. I told her they would be a total of $70 but she gave me $100!!! I sure was blessed today.

That's good news! Wineandroses, praying for good news.
I was offered a ride to church, along with a friend of mine. I didn't go but it was nice that she thought of me.
Yesterday, my friend and I had a great time with another friend going shopping and having lunch together.
God is good!

Some nice man, saw me struggling to shovel the entrance to my driveway. He came to a stop by me & said,"Here let me help you"
I moved outta the way & he plowed the whole drive way! I thanked him & asked what I owe & he said "Did you ever hear of pay it forward" yes, indeed I have.
