someone mentioned doing the clean-out thing for lent. so I looked it up, and for this year it started on Feb. 10, and ends March 24. that is 44 days, so 44 things out of the house, maybe.. and donated to help take care of the homeless kitties, I can handle that..

Wow Shag..that is exactly what the old one by the woodshed looks like that I own. I used to love that machine..Reason..SHIFT LEVER! lol. Vroom vroom. It jammed. Neighbor freeded it up but never used it after. Sure by now, seized again. I have the modern wringer by the basement door outside. Nothing gets jean clean like them. Especially the time I forgot it was going and went to work in the barn. Came back two hours later.

With two cats, one hazza silky coat an the other, not so much. The silky one sheds a TON!!!
One a my daughters knits a lot. I tole her ta come gather up all the cat hare, so's ta spinnit an knit a angora sweater...

my girl friend has been gone almost 4 years...
my kids haven't been staying here for more than a day and night in months...
i have at least 3 large closets and close to 36 drawers full of stuff that have not been opened in years!!! the stuff hanging in the closets can all go!
i am getting ready to just go in and blackbag everything and take it to the goodwill and clean this place out!

yes...sad as it is..I think I should donate my parents hard suit cases. Do I ever use them. No. Use for storage..heck no. I have softs that I use on the rare day I do actually stay overnight somewhere. So why do I hang onto them taking up space under the bed. Cause dad took them to Chicago? Cause they bought them when he sold the factory and we spent a week in Chicago on a REAL vacation? Cause mom had packed one to take to the hospital when he died? And I emptied it and got yelled at..she was pretending he was on one of his trips. Uh..mom...he would have taken it WITH him...sigh....memories get so tied up in stuff.

Lets make cards safer. We will put a chip on. Oops..chip can be downloaded from 10 feet away. Thank you IDIOTS. I bought Joe a wallet with the deterrent. My one debit/credit card is in the paper it came in. And now inside that is a sheet of aluminum foil. Simple cure. Use it mainly on the phone and not in town. hmmmmm...why do I carry it?????

Had me one a them metal wallets. It come from the... 'As seen on TV' section a the Grocery Outlet...
Had so much stuff ta put innit, it fell a part... Used one a them XXXtra large rubber bands, fer a while, butt finally give up onnit...
Prolly gottit a roun' hear some where...
I dun the foil thing too... butt...
I'druther have a pear a noids then them hummin' roids... Herd some whistle...

I have one of these that I was given as a christmas present back in 1977...
For years it has only been used as my wallet.
All my important credit cards, license, etc. fit in it or i don't carry them.
Who knew I was ahead of the curve when it comes to safety by using it for so long???

I assume you can't play any 8 tracks on your stereo any more. I've found them and they break as soon as you try to play them.
I have an old crappie record player. I have records. It still plays 45's and 33's. I have more
records and CDs than you can imagine. Last I counted 134 CDs.

That is what I am afraid of with my 8 tracks. Have mom stereo yet and tenant gave me his moms. I worry that they are old and brittle and will just snap. Although I do know how to repair them. I stick with my cassettes mostly. Plenty of recorders around here.
