What I have found interesting over the years is that several times I have been dumped because someone thought I was "too good to be true" so there must be something wrong with me. Therefore better to get rid of me now than later when bad things start coming out. Good grief, and women wonder why they are alone. Funny thing though. After one of those ladies moved on to a guy who the requisite sports car, condo and boat on the lake, I got a call from her roommate wondering if I were available. Then the former g/f called after the new guy dumped her for someone with nice assets up high, but ya know what, no second chances. I look for nice people who have kept themselves well over the years and who have at least an inkling of what it takes to be in a relationship. Age appropriate, imagine that. Still not a big market.

I would be willing to bet that there have been women interested in you, but they just didn't trip your trigger or they weren't good at flirting and maybe you didn't realize they were interested. Attraction/showing interest is a funny thing. What one person thinks is obvious, the other doesn't recognize. Not to mention, I've never met a person that at some point hasn't been hurt(men and women) some folks have more guards up too. Makes it hard just being real and telling someone you like them. My last date was November 2014. I've just decided to do my own thing, have fun and spend time with those I love. That's not very conducive to finding a mate.
