Why would anybody on here not post a pix?
If you got something to hide, why be here?
Try watching Bugs Bunny or Barney, I dont
like lookin at blanks period.
How could you blanks sing I Love You-You Love Me?
Ladys if your afraid, you can hide behind
a Faux Pix, like some do.
But if your not lady enough to post. Bu Buy.
Men if you got any canotchies youll post as well.
I dont trust anyone who hides behind a blank.

At the risk of letting everyone know how shallow I am.
I do need a picture.
I want to know there is some physical attraction to the other person before we meet. Most everyone on here is trying to meet someone they can spend the rest of their life with. We are very seriously trying to meet that special someone.
It really hurts me to meet someone for a date and find out there is no attraction, physically. It hurts both people.......alot. Usually we have chatted on line for quite sometime then we plan to meet. I want to know before that meeting that there is a good possability that it could work out.
There have been three times that I have met someone from here. All three times they had posted old pictures. In one case the pic was 14 years old. She told me after we met. (however it was obvious) That put me in a very very uncomefortable position. This was quite an expensive lesson too. Rented a car for the weekend, drove two hundred miles, bought some yellow roses, paid for dinner........drove home....
(I didn't want to take my work truck on a date.)not a first date anyway
I guess I just wnat it all.

It doesn't change much in my mind, but I will be doing a personal test on it all again, soon.
Nothing changes in what I say, but the type of contact does when I post a pic.

I totally agree Sationlace. Like I said in my forum, you can't judge a person by his looks, to me it means more what is in the inside then outside. Looks can be deceiving.

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune Justed 57, but that proves a point, Does the picture actually belong to the person you want to get to know, or are they covering it up with photos from their youth, or with someone elses photo?

I think a pic is best. And of course there is always going to be the odd ones that post a fake or an old old pic but once again, what's the point. We are here to meet people, we are what we are. Not everyone is beautiful on the outside but i still think we can make ourselves attractive with what we have. Attaction is visual.sorry..that's how people work. Haven't we discussed this before? But i guess that until you feel comfortable posting a pic, have fun on here and when you are ready let us know!! We'd love to see who we've been talking to.

Personally, I don't care to post a pic for long. Nothing to hide it just creeps me out to see my pic on the internet. I am not like those 16 picture people. I came back here to hook up with old friends. New ones want a face, so for a short time, I will show mine. Last time I did that I got email from men who didn't even read my profile at all. No idea what I thought. They only went by looks. It was just silly.

I think it's in our nature to want to set eyes on the person we are talking to. You have a more personal feel with them online. Without a picture, a phone call would be more personal. JMO
