Ive been in your Bf position. I first I was thinking it was a great idea. But in the long run it didn't work out. I now know that I should give it at least 12 months if not way longer. You honestly can't know someone in 2 weeks. I wish you can but in today's world everyone hides something.

So, yes. I'd say have him get you an apartment and pay for it. Milk that for as long as you can. Then when you and he break up, no doubt you'll have another man you can call who will come running...
I realize you've known him for awhile, but do you really think that having just broken up, you're all that emotionally strong to be starting something so soon?

Not that I am defending the op because I think it is stupid but it's possible that she is inlove after only two weeks. lol OP by the fact you want to move in together I am assuming you aren't Mormon ha ha.
Seriously though back in the 80's I was a student for one academic year at Brigham Young Univeristy in Provo Utah. Fortunately for me I was married already otherwise I probably would have been dead meat but anyway I know of a few couples who met first day of class in late August were exclusively dating by Labor Day, Engaged by Thanksgiving and running off to the Provo Temple to be married by semester's end in mid December (assuming they were both from the area otherwise they would run off to whatever Mormon Temple was closest to their home area)
For some it worked out well and they are still happily married almost 25 years later. A couple lost their spouses along the way to ilness and the 10 year war we have been in and a small handfull divorced eventually. So I guess if you really want to believe you are inlove after only a short period anything is possible if you believe hard enough lol yeah right.

Based off what I know, it seems like you have more experience than him. I was friends with a chick in high school, then I went off to the military and she went off to college. We reconnected like 5 years later and moved in together really fast too. In fact, it was more like the next day. We were together for 10 years and married for 5 of those years. It ended badly but I would do it all over again. I dont think today it really matters how soon you move in with someone if you knew them well in the past. If you just met the guy two weeks ago and moved in with him I would say that is crazy, but since you knew him before and he is not a total strager I think you will be fine. Good luck!

Why would you call someone right after you and the exbf broke up; sometimes taking a few minutes alone between relationships is good, you now actually grief the loss of one before you jump into another. Could be just rebound.

no really but now he is trying to back out claims he will not get paid until next friday which might be true he thinks if he goes with me he will lose his best friend matt who he lives with forever i told him if he loves me then nothing else should matter besides i have no one who really gives a shit about me and i live on ssi which i only get 674 a month cause i had knee surgery and have to have surgery on my back as soon as i can come up with the money

But I get the feeling from the thread you aren't asking for advice so much as seeking validation. You're gonna move in anyway, so I'll just stick with advice that may prove helpful: USE A CONDOM. I'll repeat: USE A FRIGGIN' CONDOM, EVERY TIME.
At least then when this turns into a total train wreck in another month, you'll be able to walk away without any 18-year commitments on your hands. You can chalk it up as a life lesson, learn from it and walk away.

Guess you'll flit from one guy to another til you're 100 pounds heavier, living in a trailer park, drinking beer and wondering why no one wants small town girl like you!! i am doing good i know me and my boyfriend are moving fast and yea its crazy but we know alot about one another we have known each other for 2 years we just started dating i was in a relationship when i first meet him shit hit the fan and me and my ex broke up so i called him and he came running so are we moving to fast i do not know
you said it "we are moving too fast" ...
so why do you want to move in together? just calling it the way i see it, he's your rebound from your crappy ex ... he's moving in on your weakness ... typical guy ... i guess i don't know him, so i can't say that for truth, but that's the way it appears ... SLOW DOWN chica, you're young ... don't scrub salt into your wounded heart, that's what you'll do by moving in with this guy and then he's gonna break your heart anew ...
