I think it puts folks like myself way out in left field. Take this for example if you would. I myself I don't have much muscle. I don't have a nice golden tan. I don't have a GQ personality. I dress kinda grungy but I shower on a regular basis. I don't always shave, I don't have a car because I ride a bike or walk or use public transit. I work in the neighborhood I live in so I don't really need to drive, I have a license but no car. I don't make much money but I get by just fine. I don't look towards the finer things in life I'm more down for the simple things in life. I get the feeling that I'm never going to find a descent person on here. Because I don't fit in the area of classiness. But I'm content with that. I have more to give than probably a lot of the other guy's on here. Most of which are usually just trying to over compensate and brag about what they have in order to just get laid and put another notch on their belt.. I don't think like that. I don't see women as being objects, someone to screw, and then move on. I want a partner, a companion, someone I can talk to, hangout with, do things with, and if intimacy comes out of it then thats cool but if not that's cool too. See, I was raised by a feminist and a socialist. My parents taught my siblings and myself all about respecting women and seeing them as human beings I mean walking talking individuals who have feelings who share emotion who think for themselves and who are opinionated. Individuals who have a beating heart and a soul. They are more than just objects to full-fill ones sexual needs and desires. But I fear that since I don't have material things then I'm pretty screwed. And thats sad it really makes me wonder about the way humanity really is and where it's going. I hate money I believe the more you have the bigger jerk your gonna be. I am a simple working class individual whose got a lot to give. So what makes these macho yuppies better than I or anyone else in the world? I'm really trying to find this out. Any help or understanding would be appreciated.. Madison Avenue has this world pumped up that if you dont own the newest and fanciest and best, then you have failed. The only thing you fail at is adding to the corporate coffers. I grew up around millionaires. They worked after hours in their factories, their man drove them around in older cars and they pinched pennies til they screamed. They couldnt loan you a buck, because they never carried cash. No need to. And I grew up around lazy slobs who worked only when they couldnt get out of it, were knee deep in debt paying for the brand new car and always got evicted from the home they couldnt begin to afford.Mom joked about the fools in Chicago who pulled their huge boat behind the new cadillac. And then towed it home to their one bedroom bungalow in the getto. But, hey! They looked cool on the lake. If you arent finding anyone who wants you as you are, you are looking at the wrong people.
