I am slightly confused with all of the "all the above", responses. One of the selections was if you are seeking a lying, cheating non working, lazy ass. So apparently, either most did not fully understand the question, or some of our standards are slightly lower than others. I'm just saying.

In a relationship, the EQ matters more than the IQ.
My IQ is in the 130s which is decent but doesn't do shit to help me get girlfriends and keep them.

I have to agree with belphagore1943 I have a 182 IQ and a size 13 shoe and that doesn't find you love or even a girlfriend because most girls want a gorgeous man with a great car and loads of cash instead of intelligent men who know how to treat a woman! I have never cheated on any girl I have been with, I know how to be romantic and know how to open a door for someone but yet I am on this site looking everyday for (THE ONE), that I can't find!!

Actually, from this woman's perspective (also in the 130's) both are equally important. IQ without EQ is a flop, but EQ without IQ (for me, not speaking for other women) usually results in a man feeling the need to show superiority in other ways, and, a lot of times, difficulty in communication.
