and yet us ladies take and give them our full attention atleast i do we should stand to gether and teach them a lesson put our foot down and say it is us or the tv or games i dont have any problems if i am playing the game beside him but i was once a my ex bf house and he had a game that only had one controller so i was forced to watch while he played it mad me so mad i wanted to break the darn thing

If he is doing this while you are talking on the phone you need to change the time when you talk or make the conversations shorter... guys have certain times that they like to hang with their friends or just chill doing whatever it is they are into. Wait until later that night when he is only into one thing ... you.

Didn't bother me at all when my husband watched TV. I spent years as a sports widow. Once I went to my sons and walked around the house and went to the bathroom and left. He called me later and asked if I was there cause the toilet seat was down.

I had a sister that use to be on computer, when I stopped over.Usually I was bringing dinner over.If she busy I left,not a big deal.
As for men that I have dated.I'm not into game junkies,sport nuts.
As for their phone conversation,eh i'm usually the one who hangs up.And never calls backs.If later they ask why? I just mention ,Oh chose something better to do, then talking to you.You had your game.Not going to compete.
For the phone calls during a date.I always ask is your cell phone off.Again won't compete.Unless they have children at home.Usually I don't date men with minor children.

The guys i talk to they play the game or watch tv or they sleep that is all they do it does not matter who it is they wont stop for no one it does not madder what time i call or text if he is asleep when i call or text first is he answers the call or text then either turns the t.v. on or starts playing that game

you need to find a more mature boy friend.Older.Look to set your self standards-requirements,if he owns a game--No dating him.Keep looking. -look for the man that holds a job not a game controller.

Sounds to me as if he's not interested so why bother. If he is then you could say "when you have time to talk, call me back".

I agree with safeamerica look for someone who is actually going to spend time with you not games,phones or computers. Ask them DID YOU HEAR A WORD I SAID? and when they cannot repeat or only repeat part of what you've said walk away. Not worth being frustrated or feeling bad because they obviously don't value your company or you as a person when they ignore your BASIC need of companionship. Some men never learn but a true man knows its ok to have his own personal time for gaming hunting fishing whatever it may be however when you are spending time with your mate it should be quality time PERIOD!!!!!!

The cell phone chatter just generally speaking is a nuisance. The cutesy ringers bug the crap out of me. I just want to grab them out of people's hands and smash them on the sidewalk.
