Humor of course. Before i found the 50s group i posted jokes in jokes forum and recently teturned there and to sports group but i noticed many in this age group do not accept humor in their life if i posted it here or are just plain boring to me and some always threaten to leave the site or stay because of the friends they make here and that's very sad. They're full of it many have any social skills. No that's not a joke. If i tell stories no one laughs or they just care about themselves or ignore me...so be it i get the last laugh ...ha ha,..to the ones that read my funnies, thank you
Hope your thread gets responses purple and if the coast is clear i may return here with a funny story or ten if people around here learn that the word bandwagon is a nasty word and life is too short..

Learning the real lyrics to songs I sang as a teenager. For example: "swear by God I'm gonna cut him down"~~Southern Man by Neil young. My DH guy prints out the chords and he plays guitar and tries to sing.  we laugh about taking singing lessons
In February we sing at the Veteran's Talent Show @ Sepulveda Ambulatory Clinic. Our choice:

What do I do to entertain myself, other than stalk Purple?
If my sister is able to rent a table, during the holidays, I'm going to be baking dog biscuits/treats. I have recipes for peanut butter dog bones. I may try squash and other kinds. I'll try to keep the price as low as possible because most the fun is watching people buying them and being happy about their purchase.

I love music, so anything pertaining to music is usually entertaining to me.

I like digging holes! That's entertaining until it hurts and I have to stop. When I returned the shovel to the library, I checked out a few movies. I have never seen Battlestar Galactica. Kind of old but I might watch it. Has anyone ever watched it when it was on TV? Also checked out "Up", just in case I need to lighten the mood.

Remember the first time i went to litte Italy with some italian american friends and we ate calamari and then espresso. ..the guys laughed at me because it's drunk black, maybe with Liqueur but i Asked for milk...had to explain i did not drink anything but american coffee growing up or was too young at the time period...yes they laughed at me.
But
Before we got to little italy i sat in back seat of a caddy and it turned out as an initiation of traveling with these guys, one a future actor on sopranos hbo tv show who drove. Two brothers took the window seats and i sat in middle...they both farted silently and yes deadly and opened their windows leaving me any air to breathe in middle of them. Two book ends. I thought i woulda needed a gas mask after that...on way back no way was i sitting in back seat. On way home i took pass side front window. If i had not i probably never have lived to tell this story or any story...oh there's more stories but one at a time..

I liks my whip cream in my hot chocolate purple not on top...get ya sorp hot chocolate /whip cream free...as a kid i sold lemonade a few times in summer but not hot chocolate because my mom thought i was too fragile for cold weather the Dr bill was more then cost of hot chocolate..lol

well that on my second honeymoon..someone gave us this beautiful condo on the lake at the village for a week...
my 2stepdaughter's decorated a head of time..as in putting bubble bath candles a long stem rose on the bed chocolates ..you get the picture.........................
in the fridge banana's strawberry's grapes whip cream.....
we looked around and my husband said oh good we can make some fruit salad....lmao
the cartoon bubble above my head said...

^^^ i think you heard about my honeymoon nite story. My ex slept with the virgin Mary under her pillar and spoiled my sneak attack...woke her up and i asked what is this under your pillar...she said it was protection from me...it was like 2 am in morning and i had no cell phone in flintstones age to contact the priest for an annulment...well 15 yrs later i divorced /21yrs later I'm on Dh...
