Once upon a time--I used to go on here and laugh my booty off--
Seriously, had to clean my monitor off a few times--
Because I spit my favorite drink--
Diet Cherry Pepsi all over my monitor.
For me it has been lots of learning along the way.

I was so naive in the beginning--I trusted everyone. Little did I know -- that she was telling lies to him and everyone who would listen to her.
But--truth came to light--when my daughter received a letter from her-How screwed up is that--to search out someone's children--
Oh, I am so sure she is here--Just under another fake profile--I wish I had saved the texts she sent to me--NASTY--telling me I was fat--and ugly. I would never say that to anyone--
And she had that Christian thread--
Thing is--Ice and I will always be friends-
I forgive for almost anything--Cause that is what Jesus did--
Funny, how things can make you think--
I found out the other night Danno has me blocked--I guess caue my son is gay-And I accept it--But, I ask anyone--isn't the love of a mother to a child the most sacred thing on earth.

See Nat, I don't see it that way--(But, I have not walked in your shoes).
I think--private messages --and what many choose to believe is the problem.
There is friendship--and how many look at that and relate to that.
To me friendship is truthful--even if it knocks you on your booty with the truthfulness.
A true friend will tell you the truth even if it hurts.
Sorta like hearing what you really don't want to hear.
Truth be told--I am the better friend to Ice--he is in his own world--back with his ex---but he is not on love with her--
But, talks to me when she is not around--
Yep--messed up--he is lying to himself--
But, not to me--
I know, what first loves are--I'd take my first love back in a minute--Problem is he is buried and in HEAVEN.
How many times I was acccused of being a liar and cheat like her--I do not lie--and I have never cheated in my life.

As someone who has peeked in here randomly the last few years, this group is just like the rest on DH- very cliquish and unwelcoming to any newcomers. Way too many game threads and way too few serious discussions.
One would think that as 50 something's that the posters in here would have some life experiences to add or comment to the serious topics of what is happening in the world today but this forum in my opinion has always appeared to be nothing but coloring books and puzzles in the recreational lounge of a looney bin while patients wait for meds to be dispensed. Sorry but that's how I see it.

Talk to each other. I've never seen a room with so many word games. Just because we are older don't mean we have nothing to talk about. Have a get together and make it far enough in advance so everyone can make plans but that won't happen unless people have a desire to meet and I think you have to talk to each other to have that happen. JMO
