Ryans_hope, addiction can adversely affect everyone around you and lead to loss of job, family, and eventually your life. I recently ran across an effective remedy for addictions, before that, I did not know how to help people with addictions, and it works for all sorts of addictions. First, however, there has to be the will to stop whatever you are addicted to. You have to WANT to do it. And many people do not reach that point till they hit rock bottom. Second, you need to remove whatever it is you are addicted to from your surroundings (for example, if you are addicted to smoking, you need to get rid of all cigarettes, and not allow people to smoke in your house). And Third, but most importantly, you need to turn to Our Lord and submit to him and ask him for help, if you haven’t already, (and concerning submitting to him, he has revealed that, outside of the sacraments, three things are required for one’s efforts at salvation to be complete: (1) one must obey God’s commandments, (2) pray, (3) do good works, and (4) do penance for sin.
The remedy, since it is administered intravenously, is typically performed by a medical doctor (although a nurse practitioner or nurse should be able to do it, if you know one). The doctor administers a mega dose of niacin (also called vitamin B3). Usually a single treatment is all that is need, but sometimes two. It is a cure for addictions--yes, you heard that right, it is more than just an effective treatment, it is a cure. It removes the craving, and without withdrawal symptoms. And I highly recommend it. It also cures various other maladies, including PTSS (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome) which affects a percentage of soldiers who come back from combat.
OK Ryans_hope, I have just done you a good deed by telling you this. If you try this and it cures you, you can pay it forward. I will pray for you, and please pray for me. It has been shown in studies that remedies and treatments when combined with prayer speed recovery and reduce complications, if there are complications.
