And you said "As it was, so shall it be" may indicate the pre-Genesis flood people did have technologies that were quite advanced. It was not until after the flood that people's lifespans were drastically reduced. My question how & where did this pre-genesis flood take place? I read my Bible often times and was told that there is a God. The stories in the Bible happened to only to people in the Bible, at least, that was what I thought. Through that I reached the point where I can witness that there is a God. In my journey, I finally look back and realized the many times He presented Himself and I ignored Him. Then my moment came when I realized that I was in a dessert/wilderness in my life - looked east, west, north, south and bowed my head with my eyes opened to the ground. I felt like ten tons of bricks were placed on my back. The thought popped up in me - all directions you have turned, why not look up? I answered to that thought. When I looked up, it was the brightest I have ever seen the sun. My thoughts began to flow with pondering in my heart, slowly the questions and acknowledging God, became real. Realizing that no one can help me, I opened my heart and the bricks were lifted from my back. I am a living testimony to the grace and mercy go God. Many times I realize that I gave up on Him but He didn't give up on me. I was undone but He fixed and continue to fix me. I took the Bible for granted until I started to question it. Genesis was my starting point and ended in the last chapter and verse in Revelation. However, the question as to who am I and what God has to do with me. The thought from Genesis 13 gave me new revelation. Then I arrived to a better understanding of the lineage and relationship of Jesus and the gospel of Christ. Do not run away with any false idea that you will not face challenges...I surely can tell you that when the evil one sees you striving to escape, the circumstances become greater. Satan always entices you through your senses - hearing, seeing, feeling,tasting, and smelling. Turn these senses over to God and let His will, not yours be done in your life. He has done it for me and surely you are His child, He can do it for you. There is a way to empty "self" get on our knees and sometimes sit in quiet moments and invite Him in our presence but we first haveto let go and be willing to commune with Him. If we hold on and don't surrender, like the many times I refused to hear Him, we cannot and will not have that encounter with Him. Surrender your quiet moments to God and you will see what He can do for you. The moment of transformation in each life is determined by God. He is the only one who can determine what it takes to change us.
