No, is not but you, like all the others who believe, bought that idiotic BS.

Go back in history and read about Rodrigo Borgia -who was not Italian but Spaniard- and "chat" with his wife; she will tell you that Pope Borgia had his six children with his mistress.

Believe whatever you want but keep your arrogant ignorance to yourself.

Obvious typo.
Hmmm. One wonders...Did you mean "variety", simply quoting a cliche, or "verity", making it a rather philosophical statement?

We invent religions , we invent societies . We invent what creatures of comfort , invent for themselves .

There's a whole universe showing us more , we take what we want , then we curl up in a cocoon , where we want to believe , that we're untouchable .

All religions were invented by man, except two: Orthodox Judaism and Catholicism. The former was meant as a preparatory religion only, to prepare the world for Christ. So that leaves the Catholic religion as the True Religion, outside of which none can be saved.

If that was in reference to my question/comment- Then your "observation" qualifies as Ad hominem, and actually demonstrates a lack of astuteness on your part.

1. I do support my positions, with logical arguments (whether you agree or disagree with the basis, and/or premises, is another issue altogether).

2. My comment was presenting the possibility that the intention may have been to use the word verity (meaning truth) which would make Yasureoktoo's comment a rather clever "word play", representing the position that religion is not based upon truth.
And you call that "silly"?

Tut, tut (now that you can call "silly").

Lud, this quote demolishes your words; ï DOUBT YOU WILL SEE IT.

Please, don't try to turn over the tortilla. OK? You knew he made a typo and you used it to be sarcastic.
Astuteness on my part? You know that was exactly the case.

Turn over the tortilla" is a new phrase to me.

But your allegation is false.

My statement was meant in good humor, but not sarcastic.

As I said- "verity", rather than "variety" would have been clever word play, which I was willing to give credit for.

Geez Louise, even when I'm trying to "play nice", you attribute some nasty ulterior motive to my actions. What a propensity for cynicism!

""Turn over the tortilla" is a new phrase to me.""""

You can call it cultural diffusion

""But your allegation is false.""

This is only a matter of opinion.

"" My statement was meant in good humor, but not sarcastic.""

Not to me.

""As I said- "verity", rather than "variety" would have been clever word play, which I was willing to give credit for. """"

whatever.

""Geez Louise, even when I'm trying to "play nice", you attribute some nasty ulterior motive to my actions. What a propensity for cynicism!""

I don't know what Louise may think / say but I, Silvia, have my very own way to see / think about things.
Cinical ...me? No, dear, direct and to the point... and you know it veeeeeeery well.
