I think the blue jays should be higher up on that list, but I haven't kept track of the offseason yet, so I don't know if they got anyone to replace Price. in the offseason I try to forget baseball and then brush up on it a couple weeks before drafting on fantasy teams, etc.
The dodgers sure have dropped, too, but of course they lost Greinke.

Ian Desmond turned down $15 million per year last year when the nationals tried to lock him up for more years, and now just accepted a deal barely over half of that, $8 million, and for only 1 year, with the rangers! Talk about screwing yourself over by being greedy.

I don't know why betances is listed so high when he won't close anymore. I know his stats are ridiculously low, but still, setup men and middle men I wouldn't rank so high.

^^^^^^He's still young that's why..imo the Yanks will use all 3 at one time or anyone to close...he's important because there are more RH batters then lefty hitters...I still believe Miller will be traded once teams break camp perhaps for shattering pitching or Gardner also

Probably so. I wished last year they would have stuck with betances full time, though. it annoyed me they used guy who I am drawing a blank on his name right now. I know he had great stats as well, but betances is the best of the best when it comes to young relievers, I'd say.

Today, I accepted a 30 game suspension from Major League Baseball resulting from my actions on October 30, 2015. I want to be clear, I did not in any way harm my girlfriend that evening. However, I should have exercised better judgment with respect to certain actions, and for that I am sorry. The decision to accept a suspension, as opposed to appealing one, was made after careful consideration. I made this decision in an effort to minimize the distractions that an appeal would cause the Yankees, my new teammates and most importantly, my family. I have learned from this matter, and I look forward to being part of the Yankees' quest for a 28th World Series title. Out of respect for my teammates and my family, I will have no further comment.

For all of us baseball fans, I spent a lot of time in spring training once upon a time and these games mean nothing except for proper conditioning to get yourself in good shape for opening day when the games start counting. I know we all want to see real baseball being played but for that to happen we must all wait until April 3rd.

However, good luck to the Yankees in winning the Florida state championship because I don't think they will lead after six too many times this year when the real games start counting. Inside a crumpled up dirty paper bag, 7 Ty Cobb cards were found.

The Pirates found out that they were playing their outfield too deep most of the time.
With a staff built with groundball pitchers, thier is no need to play regular depth
in the outfield.

anyone seen a switch hitter face him where pitcher has to declare if he's pitching lefty or righty before first pitch but can switch hitter change batter boxes in the same count to lefty, righty or visa versa???

Just saw him on youtube. They show MLB's Venditte Rule in the clip. Says switch pitchers can switch between batters but not with same batter. Switch hitters have to stick to whatever side they pick during an at bat too.

Prince Fielder has been diagnosed as having sleep apnea this week.
Out of 39 times that he stopped breathing 30 were determined to be very serious.

I had one 3 times there...my mach is set at 24...over 25 is respirator time...it nay be reset below 20 soon...I say Fuhgeddabouit...
he had cervical surgery and that may cause some of this because of positioning of his head, neck on pillar like it for me with same surgery just 2 yrs ago next month...no one mentions his neck surgery at all..my neurologist and neurosurgery blame that for my sleep apnea..

Wanted to play cards last night at my friends house with some buddys since we usually play there on Saturday nights every time his mom goes out but the only problem last night my friend lives with his mom. She had her piano boy friend over last night.

Silly, Doesn't it remain winter in Pittsburgh until about June?
Many baseball injuries take place with players playing in cold weather so I hope we don't see too much of that with any players playing in these northern cities in April.

Yikes that sounds horrible!!!! During the week of Xmas we had at least 4 days of 80 plus....
Weird stuff going on up in Chicago with the LaRoche story.... GM Williams is sounding like a a** but at the same time what job lets you take your kids with you everyday
