I can quite easily separate women I find desirable as relationship material in its many forms versus a hottie I wanna "do". To me, it's completely normal to be attracted to someone sexually. Mind you, they can turn you on sexually because of reasons beyond the physical. But let's cut some slack here. I mean, maybe SOME of you come in here to actually find a mate. And that's great and congratulations if it works out for you. I think it's like trying to find a physicist at the infield of the Kentucky Derby but if you capture that lightning in a bottle..kudos! We want to see what you look like due to our nature, pure, plain, and simple. Damn right it's topical, and anyone who does show it there's a reason why, and I'm not just referring to 'looks'. Insecurity for another which can cause HUGE probs in a relationship. That's the one, it gets in the minds of both. As far as what the person looks like though, I want to know. You have to be attracted to her/him, and you can't do that without knowing. We're animalistic creatures, it's our nature. All that politically correct talk about it being this or that, it's a bunch of crap. I mean, there's a reason why you get 80% more action than iff you don't have one. Still though, even a pic won't do it just as far as liking a person goes. Another animal instinct us men have is pheromones. Smell is so important. She's Gorgeous, but has really bad breath. I wouldn't want that, unless of course she had that look in her eye that's irresistible to me, and then I'd have to bare it until I got comfy enough to talk with her about it. These are physical things, site included and are the undeniable way that people are attracted to one another. sorry, but the shallow one is the OP. She doesn't even understand human nature --- instincts. A footnote: It's always puzzled me how a group of men can see a Beautiful woman can walk by and all of us in unison will agree that she's a goddess, yet the same thing can happen with women and you'll always manage to get a few out the them that will carry the attitude of, 'I don't think he's all that'. Women by far have unique tastes in what's attractive about a man than men do. It's not even close. God, has to be a woman.

The only time looks don't matter to a woman is when there is a lot of money involved, now that is even more shallow. In South Florida there are more women interested in a guys bank account than any other aspect of the guy. They even no which zip codes are in the more expensive parts of the area and if you live in one of those areas you get a higher level of response in the online dating world. So tell me again which gender is more shallow.

Women's magazines are full of ads for: clothes, face creams, makeup, hair curlers, hair straighteners, etc...all of which are about appearance. Females buy into that crap constantly, and rate one another on who has the greatest hair style, the latest celebrity brand makeup, etc...belittling those who lack such. TV shows which women watch are also full of such ads. Movies are full of women who use their looks, and bodies, to get jobs, via the casting couch...sleeping with directors, and producers, and male leads, to get ahead. Women spend a lifetime training men to be shallow sexists who fixate on women's looks, and builds. As such, women have no grounds for complaints when they get what they tried so hard to create.
