People find it more offensive that five alligators die than a boy. Something is wrong here when more value is placed on the life of an alligator than on a human.
On the other hand there ought to be enough hide for a new alligator purse and some alligator shoes.

Disney should of had warnings posted. In fact knowing there are alligators about they shouldn't of made a beach place. Its just ringing the dinner bell.

I'm not going to second guess people who know what they're doing, either. I don't know anything about alligators, their habitats, their nature, or how best to manage them. I don't know anything about how to deal with that kind of tragedy, so no. I'm not going to second guess them.
If I were that child's parent, I'd want everything done to get my son's body back, even if that meant every 'gator in the state was put down. Because believe me, those 'gators lives are nothing compared to my child's.

That wasn't even the only recent croc attack there. A 72 year old man was seen in the jaws of a giant croc. He was a frikken munchie.
And a british family on holiday went to that beach had to run away with their little daughter when a croc suddenly lunged at them out of the water onto the beach.
There are so many tourists to that resort the responsibility of the resort owners should be to fence off dangerous areas and have croc control rangers.

I cannot imagine what this will do to the parents. I can't imagine the pain they're feeling and the guilt over everything, including their decision to vacation there. Everything is going to be agonized over and over again. I can't imagine how the scenario will be relived over and over again.
I can't imagine how the after-effects will impact their other child.
How do you live with that? It won't matter that they did everything they could. It won't matter that the dad would never have been a match to that alligator. The whole situation is just horrific.
They're in my thoughts and prayers with great sympathy.

u people r missing the big picture here.....normally after the Orlando gay bars would close, many gay couples would go down to that beach for sexy time and some would get devoured by the gators and no news about it....but this last weekend there was the shooting at the bar and no one made it to the beach and the gators were extra hungry

Not verbally no, but there is more than verbal communication.
I'm sure from the crocs perspective its own need to feed was more important than the 2yr old human f**king around on the shoreline.
As far are importance goes, humans are really quite the oppposite when it comes to life on earth...being the top of the food chain and destroying the Earth rather than contributing it...the only life form that thinks humans are important...are humans...and in the grand scheme of life...they are vastly outnumbered
