Hit on si wasn't that bad. He didn't fully follow through with the hit. Sid was falling the hit was in the process of being made. Sid fell further down then was expected. High hit yes intentional no. That's why no suspension. One of the things that makes hockey great is the speed. We can look at alot of stuff in slo-mo n pick it about. Malkin usually steps up his game when sid isn't in the line up

Yeah an that is unfortunate. However it doesn't change the fact it wasn't done with intent to injury. With sid's concussion history it's not surprising he's being held out. If the series goes 7 chances are he'll be out there. Pittsburgh should win without him so why risk it?

I have to pick Washington. They never really suffered from and real losing streaks.
Plus their team is healthy especially the top6 defensemen.
Minnesota is coached by the man that has a history of choking!
Chicago has played plenty of hockey the last 6 years.
Pens have too many guys that were hurt and didn't play at seasons end.
They also are without their #1 defenseman until next season.
Columbus is very streaky. since their 16 game win streak, they played sub .500 hockey.

to win it all. But the Pens have 2 awesome goalies. Also the experts all agreeded that the Pens division was clearly the best in the NHL this season.
