Pure and simple the NFL is my favorite sport to follow and watch. I just want to watch a close Super Bowl game no matter who the two teams are that will be playing. Fortunately for all of us NFL lovers we have had some close Super Bowls to watch in recent years but there was a time that we could change the channel at halftime because a blowout was going on. Of course for the upcoming Super Bowl the two best power ratings in the NFL belong to the New England Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys respectively and this is what the majority of the public hopes to see. However, upsets do happen for teams that peak at just the right time just like in any sport when the playoffs begin so nobody knows right now who will be facing who in the Super Bowl. I think New England vs. Dallas would be a great matchup but we'll have to wait and see.

Sorp, I told you weeks ago that I would be very surprised if the Giants or the Redskins went anywhere in the playoffs but at least your Giants are in and my Redskins are out. I stick by this statement because the Giants will go no further than Eli will take them and we both know that he leads the world in interceptions among current NFL QBs. We're talking about the old Eli, not the young Eli who performed well at playoff time, who almost always throws a pick at just the wrong time. Yes, the Giants defense is much improved but they still have to score a few points to advance in the playoffs.
Now that I don't have a dog in the fight I wish the Giants well but I still can't see them going very far with an old Eli running the show. I just want to see some close games throughout the playoffs no matter who wins because I love the NFL.

I like Green Bay and Seattle in the two games you mentioned but as we both know anything can happen in the playoffs in any sport.
