Not always.....not biophysically.
however if they did lose the drive....then there is no point in fixing themselves up to try and get with someone....to be attractive to up those chances.
So...being that long hair is harder to deal with and keep up.....its safe to assume that those without any drive, many would opt to have shorter, easier to deal with hair.
So in that...there is a connection of sorts.

The Science and Medical community and I don't disagree on this subject.
There are files and files and volumes and volumes and books and books on this subject enough so...that if stacked leaning against each other, it could emcompass the length of the Equator.
What you apparently did was simply read the crust and go no further and likely heard the complaints of men who went thru this with their wives and drew a final conclusion.
If you had continued researching this, but likely didn't because you weren't married a long time to where your wife went thru this, leading to more research...perhaps.
You would have found that they say further along is, it doesn't effect all women the same....for some its a small bump in the road, where with others it turns them into a shell of a person, much like the women in the movie: The Stepford Wives...in a sense....and everything in between.
Because of this...there must be variables and reasons,....some of which I stated above...but there is more.
And it doesn't just effect the drive(if it does)..but it also can take away the need of passion, romance, and a host of similar things.
So...this is not a case of science and I disagreeing, its a case of you stopped at reading the crust and depended upon distraught male who went thru it....for your finale conclusion...plus a lack of real life experiences being in a certain age group to where you discover this yourself.
That's what its a case of.
