I am so sorry I voted for that man. I've thought he was arrogant and obnoxious for years and then fell prey to his promises of changing the country. Now I'm hoping for impeachment.

Did Iraq have weapons of mass destruction?
They did...
"In all, American troops secretly reported finding roughly 5,000 chemical warheads, shells or aviation bombs, according to interviews with dozens of participants, Iraqi and American officials, and heavily redacted intelligence documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act."

I agree and support him on fiscal and foreign affairs. His job making abilities are great. Common sense is a strong point in solving problems whether they follow conventional political ways. He needs to quit tweeting and shut the heck up. He will and does get the job done for America. I don't care about the political and PCness that libs worry about exclusively. That has nothing to do with the business of America.

I'm a little concerned about who he appoints to things and why--case in point, his appointee to HUD for New York and New Jersey. I wonder why he considers people who have no experience, training, education, or, I assume, interest in the departments he puts them in charge of.
Is it only as some sort of reward for a job well done elsewhere? Like...hiring your son's wedding planner, a person who has planned your events since 2009, and then has worked for the Eric Trump Foundation, and worked on your campaign?
Maybe she sat around a table with others and her kissing up behavior was better than all the others at the table. Apparently, he likes having people sing his praises right to his face.
She's totally unqualified as is Ben Carson, who will be her boss.
I'm concerned about the nepotism and the cronyism he has displayed.
Shouldn't a leader want the most qualified individuals working for him? Or, at least, not one who has "fudged' (or outright lied) about her degree?

Or, maybe it is business practice?
Just hear me out, on this. I went to an open interview, for an insurance company a few years back.
The representative explained to us that many businesses like to hire people that may not have any experience, because they can train them for the way they want things to be done by their company policies.
He said, that when you hire somebody with previous experience, you typically have to break their old habits from that other company's training and procedures, which can get quite costly.

I agree with that, in that sometimes bad habits can be formed, and there can be a sense of "this is how we always did it" kind of thing (wait, which is the same thing, huh?) but I don't think that should be the case when considering who is going to lead a department or business.
There are some skills that can transfer over, but in order to lead ably and efficiently with the least amount of learning curve and to command the respect of those working under you, you should know a bit more than how to get the right table linens and ensure enough waiters to serve food.
I wonder if she can really garner their respect and if so, worry about the amount it time it may take, and has he really just put her in a position where he's hung her out to dry?
I just wonder at his thought process.
Of course, there are a lot of balls to juggle in planning events, and there are a lot of balls to juggle when leading a department--I just don't think they're the same kind of balls.

Ok. Your point of view makes a lot of sense. It is the same with Trump, himself. He has zero political experience.
And as far as Ben Carson? He actually grew up as urban poor. He used the public library, to learn about subjects in addition to his schooling.
So, given his childhood experiences, it may give him a perspective that some rich, ex-CEO would have, in dealing with HUD funding and issues.
Remember a very important aspect, of our government:
The 'it has always been done this way' mentality has stopped working.
I'm not going to speculate that these changes will be 100% successful, because all of them are still human. On the flip side of that coin, America needs people that are not going to "always do it that way", right now.
And in terms of leadership, leadership is a skill. Some people are naturally born with it, and other need to learn some of it due to a natural selection of being less skilled at leading. Sp, when considering these cabinet members, their leadership skills are HOPEFULLY being considered, because yes, even I wonder at some of his appointed members, myself.

It's going to be even more hilarious, when he takes away all those EBT cards......
You want a job application mailed to you, to get a head start so you don't starve?
And an FYI, Obama did a better job than Trump or any other president, at fooling an entire nation. And even my black friends have stated they regret voting for him in his second term.....

Good point. A Rassmussen poll shows that Trump has a 50% approval rating.
So which one is BS, the poll by Rasmussen, or the poll in the OP, or both because both data collection agencies used biased surveys?

more like a retired, pension drawing veteran who's house, car, truck, motorcycle, rv and whatever else is paid for, you hypocritical piece of shit.. Then I suggest you address my words as "Spoken like a true American that works his a** off and has a paid off house, while in his mid-30s", instead of posting your memes and attacking me for being a conservative that deals in FACTS.
I realize the black community is highly incapable of accepting that the black president they voted for, based on his skin color, was an epic failure this country. It is easier to pull an Al Sharpton, and just blame the whites for all of Obama's failures.
And I get it, you draw a government check each month, so naturally you want to support the Commiecrat party, because they take MY MONEY to pay YOUR SALARY, each month. And Republicans prefer to not give as many free handouts.
But, allow me to break it down for you(since my grandfather is retired, pushing 90+ years of age and still working 6 days a week at his business like a true American):
Obama was the BIGGEST FAILURE the United States has ever seen. That is a FACT. The economics and number prove this.
The media pushed the racism card for blacks and other minorities, during all 8 years, and the whites were becoming so trampled, that WE decided to act like the minorities, and actually get off our asses and vote for a change. This is a FACT. And we see what happened.
Trump is keeping his campaign promises(something Obama never even made an attempt at, as all he ever seemed to do was run his mouth, play golf, and f**k up the health care system). That is a FACT.
And whether you like it or not, he is your Commander-in-Chief.
Republicans dealt with 8 years of BS liberal media stories and Obama's lies and bullshit.
Now that the tables have turned, look at how angry and pissy the entitled Liberals are.....
When you are done thinking your feelings about these subjects are supposed to supercede the facts, make sure you remember to factor in the "f**k" I don't give about your feelings.
You want respect? Next time, I suggest you try EARNING it, by watching your mouth.
