It is good seeing you! It sounds like January is the time to evacuate --- and go "home" to So. Ca. The men may not be any better there --- but the visuals are. Surfers at Salt Creek; volleyball at Laguna Beach ... plus glorious sunshine. Well ... wasn't that a nice fantasy on this gray, gloomy day in Beaverton? Back to reality. Does anyone have a red plaid flannel shirt I can borrow?

That's okay ... I dug to the back of my closet and found my Father's well-worn red flannel shirt and put it on. He was, in fact, a "true Oregonian" --- living a bit over 93 years in the Woodburn area! Two of his brothers and one sister continue to be "true Oregonians" --- each being over 90 years of age. Must be something to be said for living in this part of the country, huh?
On the other hand ... there sure is something to be said for being at the beach in So. California today. Beaverton is not just gray ---- it is charcoal gray.

Ok..ladies,,heres de plan... we all chip in for the gas money.and I will pick ya up..and we head for the border....We'll cruise on down the coast hwy... till we hit big sur,,then we can take turns being car sick... and then we head on down to southern cali... by this time we will have developed somewhat of a tan..and seem like we blend in..hmmm? Aging..don't forget the suntan cream/...Eanne you r the artist..dont forget the materials to do quick drawings of all the beautiful men we will meet and me? I'll be the official photographer...
