I wish you luck on the site but I am to the point in life that I am not looking online for a partner. 
Also, I am at a transition point in my life. I am retiring and have moved back to San Antonio, Tx. just this past January. Upon moving here and establishing a new Dr. I found I have some health issues I need to focus on. Not a good time to strike up a relationship.
But since I have been on the site since June ’07 and I have dated a little and made some very good friends from this site, several I have met in real life and we still keep in touch. I continue to use this site to continue those friendships and communicate in the threads. It is a type of virtual hang-out where we share in our day and sometimes our life.
