I met this guy at the car wash. He approached me and we started to conversate. I gave him my number and he texted me later that day. We met up and went to see a movie and went to have drinks and a bite to eat. He was a nice guy smelled good, dressed good, and had a nice car, but he wanted to hold hands while we were walking as if we were in a relationship. Within lets say 5 hours..

There are people on here talking about having sex on the first date and with people they
hook up with at clubs and you're asking if it's okay to hold hands on a first date? I think
I'd be more concerned that a completely stranger walked up and asked me out on a date while
I was a car wash, but that's none of my business.

Now, see here is the very issue most guys face. Women say they want a good man who is nice and shows respect.
The moment a woman gets one, she takes issue with the innocent and sweet gestures a man being a gentleman will do.
Holding hands is an innocent and natural thing to do on a date while going for a walk. You did say you were on a date. The kiss on the hand is a chivalrous gesture of interest.
Maybe instead of asking people at an online date site if it's ok, you should ask yourself why you might think it's not.
Don't ask for a good man and a gentleman unless you are ready for it.

O.P., if it makes you uncomfortable, tell him. I for one would not think of touching any woman I just met, much less hold her hand.
