We use to ask him for some type of cake and daid charge it to my mom's acct and when my mom got her bill she would freak out until dugan man Jim said it was for school..home delivery of bakery products..hmmm Now i have to get Entenmanns at supermarket...does anyone up north remember home delivery from dugans and their delivery truck..

ALL washed everything:dishes, pots & pans, laundry, vehicles, pets, hair, and even added bubbles for a bubble bath. Have we really come a 'long way baby' or have we grown greedy and impulsive?

cupocheer Assumption, IL 68, joined May. 2010	To the best of my knowledge, the flour was White Lily. But if I recall correctly it had stripped dis towels in it. The dishes were in the detergent and Quaker Oats. The Dishes were made by the Homer Laughlin China Company of Ohio (now of Ohio and West Virginia). I have a whole set of Empress Green from my childhood -- collected by my grandmother and great grandmother and passed down to me from my mother.

My mother always made them lumpy . Lassie on Sunday night. I love trivia and looking into the past even before my time. Although this is very rare these days, a gentleman ALWAYS walks on the outside/street side of a lady. BUT does anyone remember how/why that originated?
