MAN build buildings for people to gather and worship in likeness. For me, I rather sit out on my patio, cherish all the nature around me made by God and thank Him for all I do have. so no, I do not subscribe to any religion nor do I attend mans building or feel I need a middle man to confess my sins to. He knows all, He sees all, so He will give me my guidance I need. Thats ME though and have many church going friends which is their choice, just not for me. orz Portage, WI 67, joined Jul. 2010	I see no reason to lock people up inside a church instead of outside where creation is all around. Except it is harder to catch them for tithing outside. The Holy Roman Empire said it all. Although, not Christian, but..I like this Pope. He is a good man and attempts to be a Father to every person on earth. The Catholic church has been losing people for decades. Perhaps he can carry it out of the 18th century and into the 21st and bring people back to his fold. I notice and wonder that all churches for the most part, attempt to resemble mansions, castles and palaces. So the poor peasant gives his coin to some church guy wearing furs and jewels and gets to sit his unwashed body in some place he will never own. Same for government. Rome fell as did most corrupt governments. And if one looks around, most government buildings are styled after the Kings' or Emperors castles. The capitals all look like something out of Italy or Greece. What gives? Although I like that style. Save me from the salt box modern gov. buildings. Ok...rambling over....................
