Eyes... you can call it what you want but casual doesn't always Mean sex... and it's still dating, dinner, movies,
it does however mean you don't have to presume that this is marriage time. It also eliminates the stupid formalities and trying too hard... things seem to flow better, last longer and overall be reasonable...

I divorced a decade ago. I've been saying on and off, but my biggest hurdle with dating was really about finding the time. Single mom of a small child. Worked and pursued my BA and MA full time. The expectations from men was that I needed to drop and be available last minute. For the most part, I surfed and did date on occasion. Everyone I've dated, I met online.

Now that my child is old enough to manage himself for a few hours or he can stay at grandma's close by, it's much easier to make time for dating.

Do I think people fake it? Sure do. Are some just all talk to make themselves look like a commodity? I'm sure they do that too. I am most bothered by three things. The married liar. The wacko, I've ran across 2 of them. The one night stand who said he was looking for someone to date regularly then does that cowardly exit when he's done with using you. That there is self esteem killing. Aside from that, dating is still nice, but ya gotta work at it. I don't have a plan B. Where I work, all the men are married. I don't go to church and I've known my offriad buddies for so long they are like my brothers. Online is it for me...unless a guy off the street says "wow, she's pretty hot, big arse and all" or "look at her fix her own truck"
