I think I scare men since I am so independant, and outspoken.. sometimes I think I will try and act quiet and see if it gets me farther but I can never seem to do it.. and the real me comes out. It's not that I'm argumentative just opinionated and a bit stubborn... I'm actually quite easy going but if I'm with someone who has a strong personality I will let them take charge.. I usually end up with the quiet wimpy type???

Hi,
I am new to this site but this discussion intrigued me. I am single because I would have ended up in a mental hospital if I stayed with the ex. Ironically I still believe in love, partnership, and forever after.

At the least, your hoping for a friendship, but you came here hoping to meet someone that you were compatible with.
when I hear more than 1/2 the posts on a thread say 'single by choice' I smell something nasty, and it's not my breath.

I am single because I didn't realize what I had until she was gone. No second chance, no lets work on it she was just gone, and I am alone and trying to adjust to the single life style. Sometimes it is fun but It is more fun when you hae someone to go places with and enjoy ther company.
